My baba ria (grandmother) was part of an aristocratic family in Kazakhstan with like 15 kids or something and they got driven out of the country during a long riot bc they were like. 1. n/a! 2. today was pretty rough for me, so i decided to stay home and spent some time with my family and dogs. 3. when my family immigrated to the US, the lady at customs read my grandpa's cursive handwriting wrong and changed the spelling of our last name. he never changed it because he thought it sounded "more american" and it's stuck. 1 player likes this post! Tell a curious story about your family- My ancestors- No clue where they lived or how far back it was since I was only told this story once. My great- great- something grandfather would guard the moonshine to some illegal thing. The sheriff found out and came to investigate. My grandfather shot him then left the country, including his family, to run away. Years later his family found him and told him he never killed the sheriff. He just shot a hole through his hat and that he wouldnt be charged if he came back home. But he decided he liked it here so the rest of the fam ended up joining him lmao 0 players like this post! Honestly, I don't know myself, and I sincerely sympathize with people who have to pronounce Karine Stanislavovna Vodyanitskaya (In Russia and some CIS countries, for example, Armenia uses "patronymic", that is, the father's name (or mother with a new law), patronymic is almost on a par with your name and surname). I think this story is worthy of a film adaptation... But seriously, your poor ancestor, to think for many years that you killed a man, it's probably disgusting 0 players like this post! Like? |

1. LunarShadow 2. I spend it mostly at work from 3am til 2pm. Pick up my daughter from school and spend the rest of my day with my family! 3. My dad had just got out of surgery for his back. (Almost died in a few surgeries during this time) When he finally came home he was on bed rest for months. It was in October and my brother was trying his costume on. Well it was pretty late in the day and he wanted to show our dad. So he stood at the foot of the bed and my mom was in the room with them and Thomas called out his name to wake him up. "Dad, Dad, hey dad!" Dad wakes up and starts panicking and crying. My brother was dressed as the Grimm Reaper with his scythe dressed in all black and face covered. Dad thought he died and the Grimm Reaper was there for him. My mom had to calm him down and assure him it was all fine. We now laugh many years later 😂 0 players like this post! Like? |
