Personality:Ameris is an energetic sandwing,that helps with her family running their small shop in the shopping grounds. She isn’t afraid to show herself to anyone,giving her many moments of being an idiot at times. Tho she doesn’t mind that,she only enjoys making other dragons around happy and laugh,even if it’s at her. Ameris is mostly naive at times,but is working on how to be serious in hard moments,to one day take over the small shop her family owns.
Appearance:Yellow to brown scales,dark brown wing membranes and obsidian black eyes. Short,curved horns and a small ridge going from the top of her snout to about three-fourths of her tail,also has a black-forked tongue. A spike on the top of her nose and below her short ears,a scorpion-like stinger at the end of her tail that’s in a dark brown color.

The Scorpion Den,a city in the Kingdom of Sand,is the place where there was mostly Sandwings who were trying to avoid the bloodbath of the War of Sandwing Succession. It was filled to the brim of dragons that tried to hide away from Burn,Blister,Blaze and their troops.

It was early in the afternoon and the Scorpion Den was sprawling with dragons,left and right. The dusty streets were packed with rickety sheets and tents where dragons around sold their merchandise. Almost every tent around sold water and brightsting cactus,the only known antidote to Sandwing venom. Visitors walked in the tight space and bought some stuff as dragonets were running around under their feet,they seemed to be playing a nice game of how long a mouse can last against a cat.

The sun was high up,making the atmosphere feel hot but one dragon didn't mind it much. Ameris sat behind a table under her father's tent,getting ready to sell anything to any dragon who decided to come up and buy something,

Among the throngs of SandWing merchants, many dragons discussed the situation of the war of the SandWing Succession, as well as news of a royal family from far away coming to establish relations with the common SandWings, with frankly quite genuine rumors about the dragons not being of any breed that was known to them.
"What other dragon breed could there be? They're probably some sort of disguised NightWing, or maybe even SkyWing or IceWings. They may even be HiveWings... there's surely no other breeds of dragon aside from the mighty Wings of Pyrhhia, right?" One SandWing asked another as he bought a pile of jewelry from a merchant.
"Well, not many dragons have flown beyond the continent, so maybe there do exist some form of dragons alien to our own..." Another SandWing said.

Ameris's Father,Tegu,listened to the other Sandwings talking about the Sandwing Succession and how a royal family was coming from far away to somehow establish relations within the kingdom grounds. Tegu growled in a bit of annoyance at the topic of this new royal family,his jet black eyes wandering from the talkative Sandwings down to his daughter.

Tegu lifted his tail up and gently hit the back of her head with it,making Ameris come back into reality after she was watching the younger dragonets play. Why did her father do that? Ameris huffed,glancing up at the male Sandwing with a confused look resting upon her face,her nostrils flared. "What was that for?" She asked before her father tilted his head towards the Sandwings. He soon replied,"You need to pay attention to your surroundings,but I tell you that all the time.." Tegu said,rolling his eyes before he continued to speak. "I assume there's a new royal family of some sort,coming here so I need you to be on your best behavior. No disrespect." Tegu ended with a harsh growl,leaving Ameris curious.

As these things occurred, Chuvonor was getting on his chilled lectica, nervous about approaching the new environment of the marketplace where he was to meet the local SandWings. He had been sent by his dad, Xavrinthan Grysalvi, to be in charge of building relations with the local SandWings of the new land so that a colony of Ice Dragons and SandWings could be peacefully established. Of all his siblings, he was surprised and humbled by his dad's choice, but he knew that it was for one reason. Chuvonor had been born with an incredibly wise brain, which allowed him to solve disputes and problems no matter what field the problem was from. While there were instances where he couldn't come up with a reliable solution, they were more rare than not.

But that wasn't the only thing making him so nervous. In hoping that he didn't create controversy while he established relations, he used a very powerful concealment charm to keep certain aspects of his true form from the view of any SandWing who chose to gawk and stare at the features that had long been a symbol of embarrassment for him, and he wasn't sure if SandWings could smell magic or not. If they could, he knew that it could be taken as a sign of mistrust, or even a sign of more hostile intentions. He simply had to trust that the SandWings would be gracious, for now.
"Prince Chuvonor, we're ready to begin marching to the SandWing Market..." One Royal Ice Dragon soldier said.
"Th... Thanks, Barnuthan..." The shy prince said.
