GrayStar smiles. “Alone time with some is nice.” He mews. He lays his head on HoundSnap. “I knew it! You two are dating!” A cat mews. GrayStar jumps a bit. TimeFlower comes out of the shadows. “TimeFlower?!” GrayStar said.

HoundSnap had begun to relax before the She cat appeared. He grumbled, flicking his ears back. "Mouse dung. Look, shout accusations later, leave us alone for atleast an hour."

TimeFlower smiles. “Alright but be careful. CottonTail is hunting.” She walks away. GrayStar sighs. “She can be a bit of a pain. But she means well.” He mews.

HoundSnap grumbled and shifted to lay down, closing his eyes. "Is some alone time with you that hard to get?"

“Yeah. TimeFlower can be a bit annoying.” GrayStar mews. He places his tail on HoundSnap. He slips into the water and surfaces. He paws at the leafs in the water.

HoundSnap opened his eyes when he heard the splash, watching GrayStar swim about. "You must be good at swimming. I could never."

HoundSnap scooted closer and gently lapped at his fur. "Nope, never. I almost drowned when I was a kit."

GrayStar looks at him. “How?” He mews, quite worried. He stretches his paws into the water. “HoundSnap. Try doing this.” He says. He puts his paws into the shallow part of the water.

HoundSnap flicked his tail. "My mother never wanted to watch us. So me and my sister were playing near the river and I got swept away. PineStar rescued me. Back then he was still PineSnarl." He stood up and slowly did what GrayStar said, albeit hesitantly.

GrayStar smiles. “Now do this. I’ll help you.” He puts his body in the shallow part of the water. TimeFlower was watching them. CottonTail came up behind her. “Why are you watching them TimeFlower.” CottonTail mews.

HoundSnap remained where he was for a long moment, considering whether to follow or not. He slowly stepped deeper into the water, sitting down. "Are you sure?"
