hello, it is November and as far as I'm concerned, it's dinosaur event month, so I thought: hey what if there was a base, based on dinosaurs we know the colours/pattern of? A dinosaur like Sinosauropteryx? So I created this rough idea of a base in Procreate, it's not very pretty or clean, but I'm doing my best here.  |

The idea is nice but it looks like an orange base with a markings. I recommend trying to blend the markings to make them a lot softer and make them look more like a base instead. The back and shoulder area is pretty empty compared to the rest so that adds to them looking like markings. Maybe make one inspired by a dino instead of trying to just create a dino looking lion? Like a suggestion where you can see that is it inspired off of a dino, but also make it where it is unique on its own. Also with the lineart not being at normal opacity it makes the base look washed out, bright, and fuzzy.  1 player likes this post! Like? |
