Hoarfrost x Locust
Ice x Locust
Glacial x Locust
Arctic x Locust
Aufeis x Locust
(any other blue base) x Locust

Process of my thoughts:

My main inspiration for this base was my absolute love for horses and their unique and hard to comprehend coats. Gray coats are some of my favorite coats in multiple games and works very well with painted markings.




Dapple Gray:
The dapples appear much larger on real horses but I absolutely love how the blending came out in the first attempt!! If this gets added to the game I'd love for the dapples to closely resemble the ones in the locust base.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about Grullo taking on the side with Locust. Grullo is another horse related base but it's overall colors don't make much sense with the combination. I feel like it might be an interesting concept so I'll leave it here for developers to decide.

Typical dapple greys tend to have a bit of cream mixed into it. I wanted to base the layout of the cream on the real horses having cream patches. Although it looks weird I think I like the cream design better. But once again a good suggestion, I'll leave it to the developers to decide.

I think this is a very fun idea. I may look into it later on. Rose Grey Dapple sounds like a cool concept! Thanks for the suggestion.

They do sound like good ideas. I first came up with this base for my love of bases that look good alone without markings. I will have to look into it! Thank you for the suggestion.
