Status: pondering my sanity
Rosettes are making me debate my sanity
This will be attached to a rosette guide once I figure out rosettes.

ROSETTE SPAWN DOCUMENTATION THREAD!

Pass Project (Complete)

My main -> Cloverscoot #322877

If you wish to donate to the cause then please donate to #416170. Each scry round is 330 sb which is 110 scries. I appreciate your generosity as this project is getting expensive.

If you are unable to donate to this project but still wish to support it then I will accept support via bumping thread if its not on the first page of lioden theories, or dming me with links to a random rosette cub with BOTH father and mother available to document.

I'm trying for an Auburn rosette, I'm clearly missing something.

To confirm: what factors key into rosette production and what differences are there between rosetters and non-rosetters.

Goal: link certain markings together to finally reveal the full secret behind rosettes.

Note: unders is a different marking type then under. If unders markings will trigger a random rosette along with some other marking types, I think the under category enhances the pass rate of pre-existing rosettes.

Upon further research. I question if the under category actually toggles rosette spawn.
........
Information gathered:
"-any fissure, any feline, under white 4 & 6, and any vents.-"
"-the fissure/feline or vents/feline are random rosette generators.-"
....... discovered phenomenon: Season Tied Marks (stems, for short)

This occurrence is currently in the works of being studied

Margay- spawned 3 times in scry during wet season on the 13th. And then refused to spawn when scried during dry season, even when out through multiple rounds of 330 sb scry.

Deets:
any breeding can be eligible for a spontaneous rosette, but certain rosette types have certain specific criteria
-news item clarification. March 12 2024

Panther markings had previously been theorized to be involved somehow, not sure where the data is on that

I was thinking that but I haven't seen enough random rosettes where that seems applicable

Interesting discovery:

After scrying 3+ different females to the king studded to female 11&12 I found that most if them passed the doubloon shaded instead of triggering a new rosette.

The lioness 11 passed but not triggered
Lioness 12 triggered but I did not see any cubs in the series that passed.

This would imply a different system of qualifications for passing a
Versus triggering a random rosette.

I will absolutely need help to further investigate this difference.

OMG OMG OMG.
Vesture and inverted cover form shaded.
Use one lion with just vesture
Another with just inverted cover.
Eventually you will get a shaded rosette.
Omg

Edit: I have started writing down the markings I believe are key to triggering the occasional rosette and what type. There's too many confusing points for it to simply be random as is for every single one. This might also help others. I'll start with onyx, it's the easiest

Edit: yes, I broke. I scried a stud and lady that had scried with a few other lionesses. It seems that there are certain marking combinations that actually are able to make it more likely to pass a rosette(confirmed), or maybe even pass a random rosette too(unconfirmed). With other lionesses he would rarely pass even the current rosette. But with this one lioness he popped up with a number of passed rosettes. But I didn't scry a full 200-300sb only about 100sb.

FROM THIS POINT BEGINS THE DOCUMENTATION OF INDIVIDUAL MARKING TYPE PAIRING SCRIES. HERE I PAIR TWO SPECIFIC MARKING TYPES IN SCRY AND SPEND UP TO 300SB PER PAIRING TO ACHIEVE THE BEST ESTIMATE AS TO WHICH MARKINGS ARE MOST APPLICABLE SPAWNING. THIS IS NOT AN ABSOLUTE NEGATIVE DUE TO THE RULE OF CHANCE APPLIED WITHIN THE USE OF THE SCRYING STONE. THOUGH IT IS THE BEST MEANS WITH WHICH TO GAIN A GOOD GENERAL IDEA AS TO WHICH ONES WORK AND WHICH WONT.*

(Inverted) shaded rosette trigger markings

Inverted cover/brindle
Vesture
(Color) vitiligo
Soft unders
Vents

This scry does two things. A) prove that vesture and inverted cover form shaded rosettes.
And B) the marking CAN PASS after triggering a rosette
Words in (these) are details that are either unimportant, or present for the sake of formality and probably don't matter.

marking types involved: inverted brindle, (soft)unders, (shard) feline.

marking types involved: inverted cover and Vesture

Markings involved: white soft unders/ sunrise vitiligo

Vitiligo # /feline 9 Elysian

Kimanjano mottled vents +feline 6 onyx

Margay/ Feline

MARKINGS SCRIED UP TO 300+SB WITH NO ROSETTE SHOWN.
The markings that follow are so far scried and documented as NOT APPLICABLE*

margay × marozi(400+sb)

Margay × Pelage(330sb)

Pelage × Feline (330 sb)

Mottled vents × Vesture (400sb)

Inverted zebra x feline (400+ sb)

Panther x undersides (300+ sb)

Siamese x feline (350+sb)

Margay and feline are not spawning all of a sudden (a lot of sb and a brain cell)

* - Not Absolute and has room for Inaccuracy

Note, when scrying rosettes with under white 4 +6 - Roughly 300-400 sb used.
Passed rosettes: 3

When scrying rosettes without under white 4+6:
.. Random cream inverted rosette? (Second scry into 445 sb)👁👄👁.
Passed rosettes:11
Spawned rosettes: 3

the following pictures are the spawned rosettes I found during scry, unfortunately I failed to document the cream rosette before refreshing the page to keep scrying.

I'm not sure what to think of this. It's.. Unexpected.

below are more documented rosette spawns

I do wonder if my king's stats may provide any info. Of 27 cubs, he has popped 8 rosettes. Most he already had, one random brown rosette. I've always put white mott fiss onto my rosette kings and have always successfully passed at least once. I do not know what the white mott fiss may be interacting with if there is an interaction occurring
