I’d really like this as an NCL-exclusive special (we’ve not had any new ones for a hot minute) or a groupie exclusive! But for combo bases it would be a beautiful use of maybe Pecora, Goridhe (desperately needs to be a factor I swear 😤) or maybe even Mudstone (not only because my personal bias, but because it fits both the “theme” and somewhat the palette). *Plus, there’s only a small handful of combo bases that include a combo base as a factor! (Ennead, Ogdoad, Nadir, Rime plus seasonal Witch)

This is probably totally out of left field, but I made some additions that I personally really like and wanted to share on the thread too :)

I think it would benefit from some “texture,” since the base looks very “uniform.” However, not much in nature and especially mulch/soil is. As a country girl, when I look at the forest floor, it reliably won’t be smooth - my eyes will be met with pebbles, sticks, leaves, dirt (maybe even mud…)


Added some dark brown/black speckles, kind of reminiscent of our beloved Maziwa



These two played with some of the specifics, although these two are a personal thing with the colour palette! Kind of strays from the more saturated, deep, warm tones you’re going for, but it’s a little smth different :)

All in all, though, gorgeous base! 100% support!
