alrighty!

rain gently tapped the windows of all the nearby cities, it was beautiful, all the lights dancing in the reflection of the water. karasu at the time was sitting apon a tall building watching the beauty as cars rushed past in the winter weather and people bustled and hustled to get home, sure it was freezing but it was calm and beautiful. the silence was welcomed by the tired cafe worker who ran a secret life at the same time.

(GASP- so Karasu is a cafe worker? Luk is a freaking Barista (drink maker) for a cafe too! What if they sorta already know each other from working together but they have different shifts?)

Lukuro had just been leaving the cafe, being the evening barista who often ended up being the closer. He didn't mind being a closer, especially on nights with rain. The rain created a soft rhythm on the ground and the sun was mostly blocked out by how late it was getting and by the clouds. He took a deep breath and stepped out into the rain before sighing with content. He couldn't help but stand there for a moment, head leaning back and eyes closed with a smile.

he looked down at the city one more time before going back down the stairs and out the building, he enjoyed the tapping of rain for one good reason, the shadows always felt the disturbances and where the rain landed on people instead of the floor, he found it funny how often he was just sit on buildings watching the light bend and curl, he ran his hand through his slightly wet hair and started walking back to his apartment.

Picking his head back up, he hummed slightly. "Damn, wish it was like this all the time. It feels amazing." Simple rain storms were his favourite since there was no thunder to hurt his ears, though he could always just wear sound proof headphones and watch the lightning without a worry.

Deciding that the wind though was starting to affect his hands due to the cold, he stuffed them in his pockets and started heading towards the house he shared with a friend. She was nice and didn't question the things he did like talk to himself throughout the day.

After going to the house and changing into his trianing outfit, he looked down at his phone. Lukuro rolled his eyes as he picked it up, reading the text from the hero he was working underneath. Stuck in a meeting with the police. You have patrol for tonight.

"Patrol? Are you serious?" He groaned and looked over at the mirror hanging on the wall. "Patrol what? Patrol the hell where?" He hated vague instructions because there was always room for failure and messing up beyond repair. That's what had caused him to lose his internship the first time during high school.
