Look on any planet, deep down in the caves- up in mountains, bury into the ground. You'll find them. Massive, violent predators that have a taste for blood. Skulkers. The sheer power of these large beasts seems to exceed even the prehistoric reptiles millions of years ago. Skulkers are muscular bipedal canines with thick pelts and tough skin for battles. Almost all of them wear the skull of a dragon over their heads, the species of dragon will vary - and skulkers with the most impressive looking skull are favoured by packs. The scruff of their neck has the most fur for two reasons, something from their kithoods when their carers held them - and so they dont get their necks ripped while sparring with others. They produce vocals similar to low growls, roars, snarls, chuffs and purrs - and perhaps let out dog-like whines when upset or mourning. They can grow up to 10ft tall, males being significantly taller then females and sporting larger fangs. Despite male skulker's power, they are almost always outnumbered by females in a pack and can be beaten by them quite easily. Skulkers are unable to be tamed by any human, but they can form bonds with each other and any other creatures. They show affection by brushing their tails against each other or bumping heads, releasing vocals that can only be described as a sort of huff or cat-like mrrap, but lower. Skulkers have more natural and dark brown/green pelts like this specimen here- but there can be a VARIETY of exceptions, hell, some skulkers can even glow. One of those exceptions is this dude -- >
Skulkers have fairly normal behaviourisms, they engage in play nips and sometimes spar with each other by bumping the skulls on their head till one backs down. An alpha skulker, either male or female, will be adorned with odd bits of kelp or any kind of greenery the pack can find in their area, and alphas will have to defend their territories from younger skulkers seeking a pack to rule over - Alphas are merciful to these adolescents, however, and will allow them to enter the pack if the younger skulker manages to score a hit on the more experienced alpha. Skulkers call every planet their home, as they are widespread and have hitched rides on more then one extra terrestrial spaceship. Because of this, their appearances and language are very diverse- but I'm just describing the skulkers that live on Earth for you :] Oh, and don't worry, you probably will never see one of these creatures. They are very skittish and stray away from human eyes despite being much taller and more capable. THAT CONCLUDES MY RANT
