//hey all! starting a thread RP, any and everyone is welcome to join! this is an alien Invasion RP, based in/on lioden! Any species of large cat can be used, as long as you can have a picture ready for it! plot is- randomly, pride members have gone missing, and not returned. from hunt, patrols, or simply resting. your pride has mostly vanished, leaving you wandering, afraid and anxious. here is some roles! -ALIEN- -Commander (0/2) -commoner(0/?) -guard (0/7) -Capturer (3/?) -commander in training (0/2) ~notes!~ -aliens usually have Horns, or antennas. -rarely they will have wings -an alien has a 'normal' lion design, to lure away lions -they have "odd" eyes (tessera, star ruby, eldritch, Omen, intense gold/heat/salt, fierce green/red and so on) but that doesn't mean that normal lions cannot have those eyes -NORMAL- -Leader(2/2) -hunter/huntress(0/??) -Shamen (1/??) -captured (0/??) -Shamen in training (0/??) (adolescents) -hunter/huntress in training(0/??) (cubs/adolescents) -heir (0/2)(cubs/adolescents/adults) -Commoner (0/??) (go wild with normal lions, idm!) Ages don't matter, any mutation is welcome, i don't mind how many lions/ lionesses you have! They can be male or female for ALL of the roles! Your lion doesn't have to be in your pride, or exist! make it in the wardrobe, then Screen shot it, post it to imgur, Copy image address (or just copy the link of the image, EX, https://i.imgur.com/hC89yOQ Then add ".png".) use this link to add the image on Character sheets <*img src="*https://i.imgur.com/hC89yOQ.png"* width="*400*"> (remove the Asterisks [*] before posting!<3) please do ask if you want to be a commander, heir, leader or commander in training<3) |~:THE START:~| you wander, exhausted and afraid. you haven't been able to find anything but marula fruits and marbled berries for the last few moons, and you feel as if you're starving. you come across a deep, thick jungle, and as you enter all sound seems to stop.. you walk deeper, and hear soft whispers that seem to guide you to a clearing, where some lions were hiding, and others were building these...human-like structures, like a humans den.... Vision huffed, giving a curious sniff to the... odd looking lioness... "...fine. we'll find a use for you...for the time being, go and collect herbs, leaves and sticks with...him..." Vision gestured to a lion, he has a Odd mane, but bright fur color, miracle he hasn't been caught yet.... he seems too busy pacing and muttering nonsense to notice he was being needed... "his name is twig, he is a shaman..." Vision suddenly perked up, and rushed off, towards an awfully small Den. Twig, on the other paw, was now looking at Silla, with wide, intimidating eyes. he seemed to be weary and anxious... upon closer inspection, he has no claws....it seems he wears claw extensions. 0 players like this post! Ghost She has followed the scent of other lions and observed the group from her hiding spot behind a bush. Should she approach them? She was alone, since her small pride has vanished. It hasnโt been easy since and whatever has happened to her pride might happened to her too. Surviving might be easier in a group, but then again, she didnโt knew if she could trust them. -I was sitting in the cave giving out patrols and solving conflict between members, I shaken my mane to get some dirt out of it. I was rather busy inside of the cave. I yawned and thought about getting some prey, I got up and say that told her only sounds small food and rotten food. Silla nodded as the lioness hurried off. She glanced at Twig, giving a small smile. "Ok.." she sighed and padded over to him. "Hello." She said, standing a respectable distance away, "My name is Silla, I was told to collect herbs- uhm- and stuff with you.." She tried her best to give off a nervous demeanor. In reality, she was memorizing every small detail about this lion, especially the fake claws. Twig let out a soft snarl, standing up and sniffing the odd lioness. He was curious and cautious... with even the smallest movements she made, he'd jump back with a huff, before going back to smell her. "You smell...odd...." Twig muttered, he couldn't place his claw on what was so off about Silla....he knew the smell, but couldn't collect the dots. he growled again, before turning around quickly, blowing a bit of his mane out of his face. "This way...stay close, or else you'll be caught..." Twig began to walk, trying to lead Silla towards the wooded area, lowering his head to sniff for herbs and things they'd need. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Silla hurried after Twig, a bit surprised at how soon he had sensed something was off. Thankfully, she was an excellent liar. โThat must be the aliens youโre smelling. They havenโt left me alone since.. my pride was attacked..โ She drooped her head a bit. โThatโs why I came here, they almost caught me.โ She hurried ahead before Twig could respond. Silla mimicked him, sniffing the ground for plants. It seemed a bit strange, werenโt lions carnivores? To be honest, she didnโt know all that much about lions, only that they were dangerous when provoked. She examined a curly plant, still stuck in her thoughts. Because of this, Silla was unaware of the angry cobra she was just a little too close to. [She's not gonna die from the snake, just get a littlee scared- or a lot scared] 0 players like this post! out of seemingly nowhere, twig looked back towards Silla. he went to say something, but the cobra was too quick to strike. Twig jumped a bit, and right before it bit silla's leg, he slammed his paw on it. The cobra whipped around and bit his leg, only hitting the chains and getting its fangs stuck. "Be careful....a puny cobra could take you out that easily..." Twig watched the cobra as it coiled around his leg, trying to rip its fangs out of the chains on his paw. he seemed a bit amused.. "We could see if we can use its venom... at least you did some good..." twig muttered the last part, turning around once more, letting the cobra wrap around his paw 0 players like this post! Like? |

Silla stared at the slithering menace in shock as it wrapped itself around Twig's paw. She was speechless, a million questions flooding through her brain. How did she not sense it? It has venom? Had she almost died before her mission even started? She shook her head to clear her thoughts. She had to be more careful, clearly there were other things more dangerous than lions lurking about. She glanced in the direction of the smell, scanning for movement. After a moment she caught a glimpse of a small dark-furred lioness (reference to Ghost) spying on the other lions. "Interesting.." She whispered. That's a problem for the lions to solve, she concluded. She grabbed a plant that she hoped was an herb and padded over to Twig. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Ghost She still hadnโt made up her mind, whether she should approach the lions or not. While surviving might be easier, she was hesitant, because she didnโt knew if she could trust them. And she still didnโt exactly know whatโs going on. It seems like lions are abducted by weird creatures that come from the sky. Her pride had been small and lived pretty isolated, so they didnโt get news like this easily. Shortly after the first lion from her pride disappeared, she met a stranger at the border, who talked about weird creatures from the sky that abducted, then accused her of being one and attacked her. The shaman of her pride could chase the lion away. That was another reason she was hesitant to approach the lions. She shifted her position a bit to a more comfortable one and brushed against the bush, which caused the leaves to rustle. 0 players like this post! Like? |

"Eat that fermented marula fruit..."he pulled out another one, and bit into it, dropping half as he chewed. "Don't worry about anything you see...corral and whisp will be back soon to help, if not, vision will deal with it...." twig muttered as he finished the fruit and shook his mane. Corral sounded familiar... Twig suddenly picked up a bit of bark, being unbelievably careful not to chew it. He seems to be relaxing a little after eating the fruit. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Silla grumbled quietly, a little annoyed at being smacked in the face with Twig's tail. She bent down to sniff the fruit and scrunched her nose, it smelled horrid. Again, weren't lions supposed to be carnivores? She took a moment to mentally prepare herself. If she wanted to fit in, she'd have to eat it. Just as Silla took a bite, she wondered what Twig meant when he had said 'Don't worry about anything you see'. Surely it wasn't important, besides, the fruit didn't taste as bad as she had thought. She started to feel woozy, and a little giddy. Maybe her kind wasn't meant to eat fruits? She sat down and tried to blink away the blurriness creeping into her vision. 0 players like this post!
