EVENT INFORMATION
January, without a doubt the most unloved event, crammed between December and February anyone could care less! But that doesn’t mean we can’t grind this month, here’s what will help you get through January

In January our ruler needs to live through the hard great hunger. The month where prey and food is scarce, where many end up losing to the fight of hunger. But to avoid that in your pride I’m here to help!

This event is built around exploring! Your king is on the scout for Leather Beetles, but having a few Silver beetles on hand will be deemed helpful , Doing quests with Laharu will also help you get more event currency!

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- this month uses a lot of sb. Gb sales will be nicer to sb this month. The gb conversion is usually 1 = 800
- though this is the great hunger this month is really good for food during explore. Your lioness will not hunt great but explore will make up for it
- most people roll very slow or not at all this month.
- The Kaokoveld level (and its matching Zebra Spitting Cobra skin) can be unlocked by collecting 700 Carrion Eaters Points in Explore this month.

EVENT PREPARATION
Now let’s think BEFORE January, what should I prepare to get the most out of this month? It’s simple!
First of note that unlike most events the carrion shop uses Silver beetles instead of the usual Leather Beetles. So in preparation for the shop I recommend for you to save atleast 5k but the more the better! Try aim for 10-15k

Not only should you save you should also save up skulls, any type of skull. Why’s this? That’s because the bone yard will accept skulls in exchange for another roll of items! Which may be deemed useful if you are aiming for the primal mod.

Animal carcasses will be useful too! But remember to not stockpile them too early, as carcasses will rot. Laharu (this months mascot) will regularly ask for carcasses for quests! So having your lioness hunting or a few on hand will be helpful!

HOW TO EARN EVENT CURRENCY
To earn the currency this month, which are Leather Beetles you are to explore as much as you can! Event encounters or battles will reward you with leather beetles. Keep in mind this month is a SLOW currency month. Meaning you aren’t gonna earn a lot in a short amount of time, like February for a example

Many players will only grind January for the hopes of making profit! I mean don’t we all. The items that will gain you the best amount of profit are listed below.

Lion meat
ITEM USAGELion meat is a mutation inflicting item, feeding it to your lioness before breeding her will increase the chance of a mutation, ONLY purchase this item from the carrion shop, purchasing from bone yard is eating up your event currency when it should be spent on other things.

Mutie On Demand: Overgrown Fur
ITEM USAGEThis is a mutie on demand, meaning that on any female lioness you can attach this mod and she will have the overgrown fur mutation, this mod cannot be used on males. When used on females the females will have a small chance to pass down the mutation to a cub, female cubs only. These cubs appear as amps.

THE BONEYARD

The boneyard is the second event shop within this month!
You can either DIG using 2% energy every reroll or you can DONATE 5 skulls for another reroll

Every reroll it will uncover 3 new items.



Within these items are 3 tiers of different levels, tier 3 being harder to come by. Meaning you need to unlock these tiers for the certain items. While these items below are ALWAYS available. They are not dependent on any tiers opening



Once you dig or donate these items will be available to you for the rest of the month, or until you choose to reroll.

THE FOOD-PIT


The food pit is a place for you to feed your lions during the hungry month, all animals have come together to donate for others.
The food pit is opened by donating food to it!

When tier one Is opened every lion will receive a 20% hunger fill
Upon tier 2 opening every lion will receive a 40% hunger fill and tier 3 is a 60% fill.

To donate carcasses simply press on them then press the “deposit into food pit”

If you have the “feed all play all” tool from oasis (5GB cost) then you will have the option to “feed all” but if you do not own this you will have to feed each lion individually using the “let’s eat!” button.

Each item deposited into the food with will increase the food pit by 1 point, it is always 1 point regardless of carcass uses.

To utilise carcass sent to the food pit I encourage you to first go to you hoard and turn the carcass into meat chucks and then donate those chunks. As each chuck will count for one point, where as it would also do the same for a full carcass.

You can also use the carcasses until they are one use. Which will not affect the points towards the food pit.

TREASURE HUNTING


This new feature implemented in 2024 Jan. we now have something else to look forward to in January!

This is very similar to lioness hunting but with your submales! You can only use one submale and you can only send him to one spot each treasure hunt. These hunts last 15 minutes. And in result of the hunts you are rewarded with doubloons, which can be used in the new treasure cove!

Each hunt has a very Rare chance give you an item from the shop, but otherwise it will reward you with skulls, craftables and doubloons. But you may also be rewarded with a treasure map, in which if you find the spot that x marks and send your lion there to explore chances are he will come back with better prizes and higher amounts of doubloons!

Though this feature has JUST released I see that ochre powder , coffee beans and the doubloon skin will become rather popular items, so grab them while you can!

EVENT INFORMATION
This is the month of love, but not for most players this is the GRIND MONTH. A month where all players come out of hibernation to grind as hard as possible to set them up for the rest of the year. Liodens favourite event. This is the best month for profit and I am yet to show you why! This event uses heart shells!

Important notice
Yes, February is a fun month, a month where you can grind and gain profit. But remember that having proper resting and breaks is important. You have 28 days to grind. If you don’t rest you will burnout fast and end up not enjoying the game, so genuinely! Take a rest, go for a walk eat something etc.

You will find either 10hs = 1 or 6HS = 1
As for which one to use it depends if you wish to sell or buy, if you wish to buy heartshells the best option for you is 1gb=10 heart shells and If you wish to sell you are better sticking with 1gb = 6HS

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- Do NOT battle lions in February, even if they have a heartshell reward. These take up too much energy in which you can get twice as many heartshells, so just skip the battling
- this isn’t JUST the event this month, there is lots of heats available for users which I will get into later
- use both of your accounts! The more you explore the more currency you get!
- use hyena butter! This will limit your lioness encounters, meaning more room for event encounters!
- don’t spent too much HS on other items/lions, if you keep it and buy popular event items you can make twice as much!

Energy items!! Energy items is a MASSIVE part in grinding February, items such as..

- leveling up (each level up is rewarded with a full energy bar)
- Red bull (2x energy for 8 hours)

- bone marrow (20% energy)
- grub (10% energy)
- meat pie ( 100%, 5 uses )
- gorilla enclave ( easy: 20% Energy / medium : 40% Energy / difficult : 60% Energy / difficult+ : 100% ) (difficult quest cannot be chosen on demand! It’s random luck! It asks for a mutated cub )
- leveling up (1 energy bar)
- lioness quest (possible energy boost)
- hyperactive personality (daily button to gain 30% energy if energy below 70%)
- candid personality ( 3%+ energy when a successful ncl is claimed )

So how to prepare exactly? In April you can buy roasted lambs, which I highly encourage you do! Other than just genuinely saving energy items you should not level up your king UNTIL February! Meaning you can maximise the use of those level-up energy boost!

OUTSIDE OF THE EVENT
February is the biggest event because there’s much more than the event alone, during this event you can find players selling hybrid, raffle lioness or valuable lions heats. Some you may find free heats, but not exactly.

During the event you can buy yohimbe barks in which you can cut a lioness breeding cool-down without cutting her life, getting 20 of these means you are able to breed these lions (usually with a gb cost also). You can find these lions in sales or forums.

Along with heats there’s also selling your currency, this months currency is worth ALOT. But I advise to you not to sell your currency and instead buy an item and sell it later for max profit.

You can’t directly sell your currency, so instead they will ask for an item that is worth a certain amount of currency in which you will buy and it exchange it.

This works the same with lions and items. It will have a certain price in which you can buy something for that item.

though, I encourage that if you want extreme profit to NOT do barked heats and to NOT exchange hs for items, you are better off buying buffs/barks/scrots, waiting a month or two then selling those!

FLIRTING AND SLAPPING aka “Aphrodisia”


This event is a little different than normal! We get to have community interaction to help us grind!!

Every 15 minutes you are able to slap/flirt with someone’s lion

You can flirt with an online players lioness every 15 minutes! Via the Aphrodisia event tab, But if they catch you flirting with their girl you are bound to get a slap! You have 15 minutes for the lioness owner to possibly slap you!

A successful Flirt will earn you +1 Flirt Point and +1 Heart Shell

But if you get slapped you will not earn any Currency!

But some of you guys are simply too charming! There’s a chance that if you are slapped you have simply charmed the lioness too much, resulting in +1 Flirt Point and +1 to 3 Heart Shells reward

It is a good idea to have a timer on every 15 minutes to get the most out of this event, of course Turning it off during important resting!

Tier three of the Flirt Shop unlocks event-exclusive NCL eyes and markings, NCLs in the wild will have a chance for event NCL marks These eyes and markings can be found on randomly-generated lionesses in Explore.

These marks can be SOMEWHAT valuable but it isn’t worth planning your February around them

This is a rather sad month! The month of poaching, fair warning that this month is quite graphic with its explore encounters. But unfortunately this is something that exists in the real world. During this event you need to fight off poachers. This event uses rhino beetles

POACHER CHASE


Poacher chase is an unlimited chase type game! Meaning you can go on forever BUT it will get faster the more you go! This can be played as soon as the event starts and can help with earning event currency!

“Within Poacher Chase, you play a male lion that is trying to escape the poachers that are harming animals within the environment around you. There are obstacles that you need to avoid, Rhino Beetles to collect, and as you earn points and progress through the game, the lion runs faster and faster!
You can submit your score once per day to earn up to a maximum of 40 Rhino Beetles per day—if you play Poacher Chase each day and hit the maximum score every time, that's roughly an additional 1,240 Rhino Beetles for you to spend! There is no maximum cap for Prevent Points earned, as the amount you earn is 10% of the number of obstacles you successfully clear. Score sending for Poacher Chase resets at midnight (12am) Lioden time, not at rollover (2:05am).”

EVENT INFORMATION
The month of the furballs! What? They’ve gotten absolutely out of control! They are breeding like mice! We need to get the population under control. This event you help out a fello “Fluffball” Lion named wenet! You need to catch as many fluffballs as those paws will allow and collect carved Easter eggs on the way. This event isn’t one of the more loved events but it’s definitely fun! This event is focused highly on exploring. This event uses Easter eggs and hare points!

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND
- Do all wenet daily quests for max event profit
- Use energy sources if energy is needed!
- Mask off = lots of lucky feet and chance at egg yolks
- Mask on = lots of currency!
- Mask off for lamb carcasses
- Lamb carcasses can be found in food bundles
- For profit, when claiming wenet or a cousin, do both accounts cousin.
- The maximum amount of Hare Points you can earn each year is 89 Hare Points, provided you finish each quest on time. ( PER ACCOUNT )
- you can exchange 15 hare points for 30 EE (i do not recommend)
- if hoarding egg yolks, have a account set up not to roll (as they expire!)
- if you finish the quest on April 1st (before rollover) you will be able to finish 2 quests in one day, meaning instead of the usual 89 HP you will manage 91!

EVENT PREPARATION
The most important thing in this event is the roasted lambs truthfully! They help out massively during events like February or grinding months! Though you can only get 85 hare points a year which is roughly only 14 hares a year!
I suggest holding onto some GB and setting up trades 1 gb for 1 roasted lamb! Which is a fair price and sets you up for the next coming months! I usually get 100 per year using this method!
Also have 2 or a leopard orchid on hand for when it comes to claiming wenet or a cousin!

HOW TO EARN EVENT CURRENCY
Explore explore explore! But also completing Wenet quests! By having your mask on and doing certain event encounters you are more likely to get more Easter eggs than usual! I suggest always having your mask on unless looking for lambs!

CLAIMING WENET (or her cousin )

On April 30th if you’ve completed all (10) storyline wenet quests you have a chance at claiming her OR her cousin ( you DO have a chance to fail this like any normal lioness claiming, you only get ONE chance per account. I suggest having 2 or a leopard orchid on hand. )

You can choose to claim wenet or her cousin, (I suggest claiming a cousin)

Wenet comes with set traits! She will ALWAYS be the same! (Therefore there is going to be a handful ingame, meaning they aren’t worth as much as the cousins)



While if you choose to claim a cousin you get a mixup of a random set of traits! Your Wenet cousin will have 10 marks and traits from below

EGG DEN
By a community effort, collecting Easter eggs unlocks tiers in the egg den!
Tier One of the Egg Den bar unlocks "Ostrich Chicks."
Tier Two of the Egg Den bar unlocks "Event NCLs."
Tier Three of the Egg Den unlocks the "Primordial Spring."


Tier One of the Egg Den unlocks the Ostrich Chicks feature. Once per day, your pride leader can click the "Play Time!" button to gain Experience equal to their (LVL x 40 to 50).
This is especially helpful for leveling kings up!


Tier Two of the Egg Den unlocks event-exclusive NCL eyes and markings (also referred to as "April NCL eyes/markings"). These eyes and markings can be found on randomly-generated lionesses in Explore. A list of the eyes and markings are provided below!


Each year a new set of traits are released, by getting the first few of those traits they can be sold for a quick Buck!


The best part of April in my opinion is the spring! It allows for you to either age up or age down your king!

Tier Three of the Egg Den unlocks the Primordial Spring feature. Once per pride leader per account, you can choose to "Drink from the Spring..." in order to Spring Forward or Fall Behind, which will affect your current pride leader's age.

Spring Forward will age your pride leader up by 2 years, whereas Fall Behind will de-age your pride leader by 2 years.

If you choose to Spring Forward, you will receive the following text, and your pride leader will immediately be 2 years older!

This is REALLY good for keeping a king for that little bit longer! OR getting rid of that rolled king!

Wiki notes

- you can only use this feature once per pride leader per account. You cannot use the Primordial Spring with the same exact leader through multiple April events. If you do not have the option to use the Primordial Spring, this means you already drank from it during a previous April event with that same leader.
- The youngest your pride leader can be is 2 years of age exactly. You cannot use the Fall Behind option to make your leader any younger than 2.
- This feature can only be used on pride leaders. You cannot age up or de-age any pride members using the Primordial Spring.
- You are able to use the Primordial Spring multiple times if you retire your leader multiple times during April. For example, you can age up your leader, retire them for free, then de-age your new leader during the same April event. This is because they are functionally a new lion, even if you happen to keep your leader's appearance during retirement or otherwise.



Tier Three of the Bunny Shop unlocks the Bunny Tunnels feature. This feature is available at the very top of the Bunny Shop when it is unlocked.

The Bunny Tunnels allow you to send off your adolescent females (ages 1 year to 1 year, 11 months) in order for them to gain a small amount of experience and stats, once per day per adolescent! You can only send out one adolescent at a time, and each expedition lasts for 60 minutes.

When your adolescents return, they will gain Experience equal to their (LVL x 20 to 30) and 2 to 5 stats randomly dispersed in each category (barring Skill).

BATTLE ARENAS


The battle arenas! Possibly the most liked part of may! Here we can battle up to 8 kings in a set of 3 rounds. To enter in the championships it costs 3 arena tokens, and you are battling REAL lioden kings!



Your battles will be put into a certain stat bracket of your king, this is to create fairness between kings (imagine being 3 stats and battling a 3000 statter!) The stat brackets can be found below



Once you enter a tournament you will have to wait a few seconds for other kings to enter, once your results are back (shown by a message you will receive below)



You will have to wait a hours cool-down inbetween championships. You will be able to view your results through the message sent to your DMs



Your stats DO MATTER for championships, the higher you are in the stat bracket you are, the more chance you have to win. BUT in saying that if you are ONE stat over in the stat bracket you will be moved to the next bracket. Despite stats having a big role in winning it is also up to a luck factor, meaning you can still win if you are the lowest stats in your bracket!

the first round (or the "quarter finals") is made up of eight different kings. They are pitted against one another in groups of two, where four will win and four will lose. Once the first round is complete, it then moves on to the second round (or the "semi finals"). This is comprised of four kings in total, and only two will continue on. When the second round finishes, the third round (or the "finals") takes place, which is where the tournament comes to an end. Only one king will be victorious...

if you lose, you can still win! If you lose a round, there is a chance to gain between 1 to 2 Manticora Beetles. If you win a round, you can gain between 4 to 5 Manticora Beetles. Event currency isn't all you earn from the tournaments, though! You can also win a variety of the trophy’s below

CHALLENGERS

Here you get the opportunity to challenge other players! This works almost exactly how flirting works in February

Every 15 minutes you can choose to challenge a lion, to do so you just need to click the button below, this will be in the event tab.



Once clicked the button will show this page



You have 15 minutes to not get spotted here! If you get spotted the opposing lion will earn arena tokens, if you don’t you will! There is a slight chance your lion will sneak in and steal some area tokens! You cannot determine what action your lion takes or if they get caught or not.

If you win a challenge, you will earn 1 to 4 Arena Tokens! If you lose, you do not earn anything, but thankfully you won't lose your current Arena Tokens, either!

Now what if someone challenges YOU? Well same goes! You have 15 minutes to respond



You can win or lose these challengers!

you will know if you have a challenge as there will be a notice just like hunting or patrolling gives.

GROUPIES
Groupies are adult female and adolescent female lions that you can claim if you side with vkai! These lions have NO heritage, therefore the females make good breeders and the males good kings! What you get with your groupie is random, you can get special bases, some mutations and some marks!

By using a mummified heart you can encourage only male adolescents to be claimed. To claim a groupie it costs 8 reputation! Reputation can be gained by completing daily quests! You can claim one groupie every 6 hours!

There is quite a market for make groupies later in the year, specifically around November and Black Friday.

PUNK BREEDING CHALLENGE
The punk challenge is the second event wise challenge there is on lioden! This is a person challenge, meaning only you can complete it! There are two parts, defeating lion NPCS and breeding lions! The challenge begins at 12:00am LDT on May 16th



The first part of the challenge is to defeat 200 lion NPCS - this can be done by using catnip to lure in NCLs then slapping them to start a battle!

The second part requires you to breed 20 cubs with the Crested mane shape - this can be done by studding crested studs or breeding crested mane females!

A good strategy to defeating Lion NPCs is to Charge them for your opening move, Grab them, then Pound and Kick your way to victory!

For defeating the 200 lion NPCs there is a button that will allow for you to claim your personal rewards. Upon clicking this button, you will be permanently granted the Punk title and Punk achievement! You will also earn a temporary +2 Damage battle boost against all lion NPCs for the remainder of May.

As for the crested mane challenge once finished, you will be granted the opportunity to “breed the Mohawk” when clicking this button you will get a pop up stating the following

Upon pressing the button, the next immediate breeding from your king will result in one cub within the litter having a guaranteed Dorsal Fur mutation! The cub will have the Crested mane shape, regardless of what mane shape its parents have. The button to breed the mutation will be there until the challenge ends. However, the button's effect will last until you successfully breed your king, even after the challenge ends!

this is your kings NEXT IMMEDIATE BREEDING. This DOES stud out, meaning if you get a stud request and accept it, you will lose your boost!

Additionally you can get your cubs trained! For 15 reputation everytime you successfully train a adolescent Vash will increase that result by 5%, this lasts the entire rollover and you can purchase it once per roll/day

With the drought wiping out life left and right you are presented with two options, side with the humans or go against them. This event is Mainly focused on EXPLORING. There is two event shops, one that relays on evil actions to open and one of good actions to open! This events currency is dry bones and carrion beetles!

- If you are on the Journey to Vredefort Crater quest and you need to access the Flood Pit, it will be manually opened from 12am Lioden time to 11:59pm Lioden time on August 13th and August 27th.
- you will have increased fail hunts due to the heat.
- doing good deeds opens the preservers
- doing evil deeds opens up the destroyers
- the peddler is unlocked with community effort
- use CB on your stud instead of DB! Dry bones are worth more.

SAVAGE STUDS
Maneater/savage studs open by a community effort to kill as many humans as possible! You can stud to these males for a fee of 200 DB or 600 CB! These males will change out every 24 hours.

These lions are intended to get new bases Marks and eyes into the game, this is a NPC. Your request will be accepted immediately. You CANNOT use breeding items on savage studs!

There is a workaround with cub guarantee items; however, it requires you to own a Double Uterus lioness. You can use a cub guarantee item on your stud, breed to your Double Uterus, then breed her to a Savage Male. This will overwrite half of her cubs' genetics with the Savage Male's genetics. (Although this isn’t REALLY worth it.)

You can breed any lioness to the studs as long as she’s in heat, here’s an example of the current stud for this exact moment!

THIRST BAR

Your thirst will drop by 5% every 30 minutes, and can also randomly drop from certain encounters in explore. Luckily, you can raise it through certain explore encounters as well, along with consuming special water items given out during this event!

the items you can consume this month for water are the following

- -100% thirst
- -15% thirst
- -5% thirst
- -5% thirst

Nothing insane will happen if you reach 100% thirst, you will just not be able to fight NPCS in explore!

Vulture chase


For 5 dry bones you can send your adolescent females to chase some vultures! Each adolescent can chase once per rollover! A chasing session lasts 60 minutes and only one lion can go at a time! At the end of each session your adolescent will earn 50 Experience and 2 to 5 random stats.

Tracking herds


For a fee of 50 Dry Bones, your pride leader can track herds to receive Experience once per rollover! The Experience that they receive is equal to (LVL x 30). A level 5 lion would earn 150 Experience, while a level 20 lion would receive 600 Experience.

This is particularly useful when levelling up your king for energy!

FIRE ESCAPE


Fire Escape is an endless runner-type minigame that is exclusively available during August's event. Within Fire Escape, you play a male lion that is desperately trying to, well, escape the fire that is burning his entire home to the ground. There are obstacles that you need to avoid, Carrion Beetles to collect, and as you earn points and progress through the game, the lion runs faster and faster!

You can submit your score once per day to earn up to a maximum of 200 Carrion Beetles and 100 Dry Bones per day—if you play Fire Escape each day and hit the maximum score every time, that's roughly an additional 6,000 Carrion Beetles and 3,000 Dry Bones for you to spend! Score sending for Fire Escape resets at midnight (12am) Lioden time, not at rollover (2:05am).

Zoning out is actually really helpful! If you focus too hard you will mess up, using the no moving background is also helpful. ( and doesn’t make you dizzy! )
