Collie remind me too much of the Ragdoll base,unfortunately.

But ! If you want to make a base based on dogs,why not make one based of the blue or red merle Australian Shepherd ?

This specific dog fur colors are more colorful that the one of the border collie,so it could more appealing to peoples

I feel that a bit more gentle blending of the blue into the white could make it look more like a complete base rather than a blue base with white markings. Perhaps also a bit of white on the rump? :)

it’s a nice idea but there are several markings that look basically exactly like the white part. the black part itself is very pretty though

No support because it looks a lot like the Dust or Grit markings paired the White Tuxedo marking. Although the idea is nice, its just too much like existing markings for me to support it.
