New Storyline Reward system
We're adding a menu to choose a reward from all the applicators that have been rewarded in previous years. In future, if we add new rewards to this storyline, they will be one of the items to choose from.

Treasure Hunting

This feature is an Event Update - it will last until the End of January.

We're unveiling Treasure Hunting this year - a chance to put an additional submale to use!

You can choose from four maps to send a submale out treasure hunting. The hunt lasts 15 minutes and rewards a small prize at the end. Each standard hunt has a chance of discovering a Treasure Map leading to a much bigger reward if you follow the directions and discover the right place to send him next!

With Treasure Hunting comes a new currency - Doubloons. Every Treasure Hunt rewards some Doubloons, but following a Treasure Map will give a bigger amount.

And with a new currency comes a new shop - the Treasure Cove! Amongst some brand new shipwreck themed backgrounds and decorations, we have couple of new special items:

Ochre Powder - increases the chance of passing on markings to cubs, this stacks if used on both parents in the same breeding.
Coffee Beans - explore steps only take 1-2% energy instead of 1-3%.

In addition, unique to this event, all shop items can be found (rarely) when completing a Treasure Map hunt!

Items found only when hunting:
Treasure Hunting rewards will also see a brand new item - Bundle of Herbs. This will give 3-5 herbs when opened.
You might also find a new, special assassin bug TOKEN, unique to this activity - Platymeris laevicollis!

WAIT!! Skin: Doubloon?
Yes! We confirmed 3 years ago we'd implement Marigold skin, but we decided that the colour would really fit here as Doubloon! It can be bought in the shop (or found as treasure!)

Raffle Lioness

Where's the official raffle and Friday comic?
Community raffles and Friday doodles are only released on community updates. This is a development update, so no raffle or doodle will be released this week, sorry!

Thank you everyone who submitted your applications to try for our new Artist position! The final test was concluded, the training finished and our new Lion Files Artist is now in full work mode!
They will work on new bases and markings immediately, this year, 90% of them will be your suggestions!
They will also help with producing files for upcoming mutations/poses, etc. We hope new projects will speed up nicely!
