RANKING~

In a pack, there are generally 9 different ranks. They are established by dominance, how long you have been in the pack and age.

Alphas: The leaders. These wolves are the strongest and most dominant of the pack and are in charge of the pack. They are the first to eat. There are usually two Alphas, but that's not necessary. They can be challenged for their position. If it is beaten, the winner can decide what to do with it.

Elders: They have been part of the pack for over 5 years. They help Alphas make decisions. They cannot be challenged and cannot challenge any other wolf.

Betas: They are the right hand of the Alphas. They apply the rules of the pack. They can be challenged and challenged for the Alpha position.

Gamma: There is only one in each pack. They are the peacekeepers of the pack. They can be challenged and challenged for the beta position.

Delta: There is only one. They are the warriors at the head of the pack. They train the new wolves and help with battle strategies. They can be challenged and can challenge for the beta position.

Theta: usually the caretakers of the younger wolves while the rest of the pack are out hunting or scouting.

Isubordinates: Older than puppies, but new to the pack or without real rank. May contest for Theta position.

Puppies: They are chosen by the Alphas, then become the Alphas' puppies. They undergo training and after completing it, they will become insubordinate.

Omegas: These are the most submissive wolves of the pack. They are beaten by other members of the pack and are the last to eat. They cannot challenge any position and if they challenge a higher ranking wolf they will be kicked out of the pack.

We will decide roles once 3 more people have decided to join the pack! You may also pick Rouge (which also counts as a member) whom will never join a pack without having to be put on trial. (Wolf usually must be older than 1 year if this happens, if younger than they come in no words decided.)

Alpha - The two leaders of the pack or one. They always eat first and one of the only wolves allowed to have cubs apart from the betas. They are the parents of the pack. Can start meetings, etc.

Beta - usually two, they can start meetings and send out hunters or scouts.

Elder - The older and retired wolves of the pack, they can hunt by choice but only at day. They are cared of by Isubordinates and Thetas.

Theta - younger side, take care of the pack and eat with the elders. Can go on scouting trips.

Isubordinates - Don’t have a true rank yet, they mostly help out with hunting and scouting, commonly the cubs of omegas or the betas.

Pups - just do what toddlers do. Don’t walk straight after birth or hear and talk or I will personally YEEt you from rp when you come of age.

Omegas - bottom of the food chain. They must be submissive to higher ranks and do most of the hunting and scouting.


Roles!

Hunter - they go out around noon and dusk to hunt by alphas or betas command.

Scouter - can go out whenever when granted permission and can eat anything they hunt while scouting the territory.

Caretaker - commonly given to thetas, they care for injured wolves, the pups, the elders and can go out with the foragers.

Foragers - they usually are given to adol wolves. These wolves go out to forage and can tag along with scouts yet can only hunt smaller animals like rabbits and fawns.

Crafter - similar to caretaker mixed with scouts. They can go to forage like foragers but have to forage for things like bark, twine, fur, pelts, claws, leather and traces f metal. They then craft these things into things like blankets and covers for dens. Foragers usually gift to crafters.

Lore

Recently. Fog and her pack mates discovered the teh east canyon pack is moving down the slopes towards the swamp and are chasing the prey away.

Fog has also found out that this seasons summer will be a dry one. Shortages of water spreading across the valleys to the plains, it will be difficult to raise cubs and keep the pack stable.
