Perhaps I'm biased because I have an above average number of lions, but my Daily Rollover Summary message is... super long. I constantly have 50-100 lions at risk of leaving each day from hunger, which is tedious to scroll through.

The pending stud request addition they made in the middle of November was a very welcome change, but admittedly, I don't even scroll that far down most days. I'm sure there are other players who don't look at their full rollover summary because it's filled with so much to scroll through.

I'd like to rework the Rollover Summary a bit. Rather than cramming everything into the one, we should add another and have two notifications each rollover: We should have 2 separate, collapsible sections on the notification: "Daily Breeding Summary" and "Daily Pride Summary". I have a few things I'd personally want present in each message. All lions' names listed on a summary would be clickable (because I hate that "Lions that gave birth" doesn't let you click them directly). If you have any other suggestions, please do mention them! I may add them to my lists :)

Daily Breeding Summary
> Pending stud requests at the TOP for maximum visibility
> Pending lionesses in heat with reverse heat requests (if applicable)
> List of Lionesses in heat (+ how many days are left?)

> Lions that gave birth

First of all, I would put anything pertaining to other players seeking a service right up at the top for maximum visibility. I'm super afraid of somehow missing that I have a stud request due to mass branch notifications or something burying the stud notification while I was asleep. I would hate to feel ignored, even if it's ultimately accidental. :(

I'd also like to add a new, never-before-seen section: "Lionesses in heat". Just, a clickable list right in one spot would be super convenient. Right now I go to Pride Overview and select "Lionesses in heat" to get them all sorted, and it's easy enough to do it that way... but like, why do in 4 steps what I could do in 1 step?

Daily Pride Summary
> Lions that aged up
> Number of lions and number of lionesses aging up if pride is about to overflow
> Lions that left
> Lions that may leave soon

This is essentially what's left of the Daily Rollover Summary when you remove the breeding stuff. If I'm missing something, let me know!

Personally, I'm not concerned about inbox clutter with this. The notifications inbox is a bottomless pit, so it won't prevent anyone from getting any more messages. And since the notifications would arrive at the same time, it isn't going to be twice as bothersome to receive. Perhaps people who would prefer to scroll through a single notification might dislike a second notification to click, but I feel at this point that there's too much information to put into a single message. In certain cases (like mine or even a larger extent) it can get extremely long and hard to skim through for adolescents in particular. I can't tell who's aging and who's just leaving from hunger/mood.

Suggestion by Fraekinn (#57572) to just reorganize the order everything is listed in the summary.

It makes sense to have it all done at one time really, slow the site down for 15 minutes once a day instead of 3-4 times when different timezones wake up and get online. It would certainly be worth testing.

Edit: and if it isn't the cause of the rollover slowdown, what is and why hasn't it been addressed? RO went from being instant to now taking (on a good day) 15 minutes and nothing but silence about it.

I'll test it on my next day off, otherwise I'll forget about not using play all haha

For now, I have updated my main suggestion to just have the single notification with the 2 sections mentioned in my post instead. Ideally they'd either be autocollapsed, expandable upon click - or there could be a toggle for whoever would want that.

I would prefer that honestly.
Or even if they just changed the massive list of lions to something like what we have on our page in the message in bright red.
"You have x lions threatening to leave - better feed and play with them!"

I think for people who feed/play directly from the rollover summary the list is helpful to not have to search through caves. I'm not sure if that's easier for them or if they'd rather go through the caves, as I'm a FAPA user and have been pretty much since I joined :V Though, I have in the past scrolled the list and clicked on names before (well, until I rediscovered Pride Overview) so I probably wouldn't want that taken away entirely.

Just, pls don't make me scroll through it every day to get to the good stuff *_*

Maybe even just a minor reorganisation.

You have X Stud Requests outstanding. View now? [links would be great]

You have X Heat Requests outstanding. View now?

You have had cubs born from these lionesses:
Lioness 1 gave birth to 3 cubs
Lioness 2 gave birth to 1 cub.

You need to nest these lions:
Lioness 3

These lions aged up:
Submale

These lions will leave next rollover if not fed and/or played with:
Submale
Lioness 4

This sort of thing feels much more logical to me than the current layout.

That's intuitive tbh, definitely would settle for that.

You really should delete notifications you dont read. I cannot imagine the overwhelming clutter leaving unread notifications would produce - of course you will miss new stud requests in such a chaos, if you have 100+ unread notifications you surely wont notice one more added to it! When you manage your notifications properly, you always see that (1) unread notification when somebody sends you a new request, making it impossible to miss. And having to find certain information in that?! I dread thinking about it! Of course it will make your life challenging, if you dont manage your inbox, it will get so cluttered no amount of tidying up the rollover message will help. Imagine never taking out trash out of your RL house - eventually it will make your life impossible. You need to develop a better managing habit, only then it will actually get easier.

I agree with Fraekinn about reorganising the order they go in, that would be convenient. ALSO Id suggest to only include lions that would actually leave if not fed/played with; the NCLs that drop below 50% hunger wont leave for like two more days after starting to show up on the message? They're nowhere near leaving yet so why do they show up there once they juuuust start getting hungry? I feel this is the source of MOST runaway lions, the confusion between "almost running away" and "will certainly run away". It would be very helpful if it only listed lions actually running away next rollover, not "starting to be low hunger so at risk of running in a few days"; that kind of pre-warning does more harm than good. There's already a pride red bar warning for pre-warning measures; it'd be nice if rollover listed only actually endangered pride members, over Den bar listing those starting to be at risk.

It's really not unmanageable lol... Yes it can look cluttered I guess, but I don't need to look at anything beyond the first page 99.9% of the time. I don't miss important notifications because everything new is on top.

Having dealt with attempted scams in the past, I'm hesitant to delete every notification in case I need to double check transactions between a specific player and myself from months back. If there was a 'mark all as read' though, I would use it.

@Mad Hyena
As someone who clears every single notification on a basically instantaneous level I have to ask how you never had a stud req you forgot about because you a. Didn't have energy at the time or b. Ran out of energy doing the girl and didn't get the job done in one go? The RO stud count is a lifesaver! Half the time I don't even remember having a stud req if I open the message when I'm still tired. I will say telling Terr they should manage their inbox better and "only then" will it be easier in your inbox....absolutely disagree. It's chaotic either way, there's so much that could be done to make inboxes easier to manage and nicer to look at/search for. And the 200 message limit unless you *pay* to 'save' messages? Fuck that. I absolutely SUPER agree with the "absolutely running away next RO" vs the current 50/60% hunger though, that stuff is annoying and the reason I don't look at that list at all.

And @Terrinthia YESSSS, PLEASE, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS LIODEN GIVE A MARK ALL AS READ! If ANYTHING on this game (notifications wise) is maddening it is **#1** Going through every fucking stud request failed notification. *#2 is the fucking may championship notifications, but you only have to bother with those for a month so it's not the worst (if it was a year.round thing it'd be hands down the most maddening)

With managing clean inbox, I have to say I have never forgotten a stud request for longer than few hours. Ive had cancelled requests when I had to go to sleep shortly after person sent it - that happens sometimes, but then, cant do anything about living in my time zone, if its 2 AM here, I cant stay up. I still emphasize my point - not managing a notification inbox makes it several times more confusing than it is when its clean and well-managed. Just adding a Stud Requests tab in Rollover message wont help when you have an overwhelmingly full inbox mixed of read and unread notiffs, and imagine if someone PMs you a question about something contained in there? It will be a NIGHTMARE to find.

Sure, you might still loose requests with clean inbox. Keyword is Might.
But you're guaranteed to loose things with cluttered chaotic inbox.

Read All button would be helpful, true - when I have to send 3-5 stud requests and each takes several tries, it fill the inbox quickly, having to delete them is annoying. But sweeping some junk messages you dont need is also VERY helpful for managing a convenient to use notifications inbox.
