hi! i was looking through the custom decors list and i saw these really cool star wars CDs. i'm pretty new to custom decor, and i had read through the rules at some point and if i remember right aren't decors that are like inspired by or made about a copyrighted character supposed to be not allowed? i'm really confused since i went back to the rules, and the first rule is no copyrighted characters, but the star wars CD i saw had been approved and made it through the process (which i've heard is supposed to be pretty picky?) -- i just wanted to get a solid answer that we are allowed to make/commission custom decors that are about copyrighted characters since i don't really know now which is true, either no we aren't allowed to make character CDs (which is the rule), or yes we can (which makes sense(?) because the star wars CD was darth vader...and if the rule exists then how did it make it through the approval process?) anyways i think it'd be really cool if we could have character CDs, imagine...an eeyore onesie for cubs :0 sorry for the really long post, and thanks ahead of time to anyone who can answer my question!  0 players like this post! I mean with the amount of character cd there is, I'm not actually sure at this point if the rule is even in effect. There's all sorts, between Zelda Tears of the Kingdom decor, and Starwars decor. I think your best bet would probably be to ask the modbox for clarifications as the rules say one thing and there's obvious character cd in the game. I'd love to have a solid answer for you, but I don't. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@kaz thank you so much for the reply, i was sorta expecting a wishy washy response since the rules and what actually is in the game is contradicting, so i didn't really expect a solid answer from a player,, thanks again for taking the time to read and respond, i will follow your suggestions! 1 player likes this post! I’m almost 100% that I’ve read that if the decor is heavily inspired but not EXACT it can go through, for example captain americas shield but instead of a star in the middle it’s a paw, and so on 0 players like this post! Like? |
