Taking the chance to ask, what are some goals and plans you have with your characters?

Cougarbramble was created to be much more casual than my other wc oc's, both to account for my inactivity on the site and to ease myself back into roleplay. He is very much nearing his end (ideally in my mind currently he dies around 2 years in-roleplay from now), and he is keenly aware- but he still has one final bravado to pull. He would like to mentor or help mentor one last apprentince, to pass down the things he has passed down before but got lost.

And that is about that for him, outsside of what else may arise from roleplay. Teach a child old man knowledge, then die. I could also go inro detail how this all would likely look like with his character, but I'm not willing to write all of that right now

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with Owlstar, but I am leaning a bit towards the slow villain arc. I do have some things planned, but depending on how the roleplay progress, they may or may not happen.

I do have a little announcement to make:

Due to the person who played the previous deputy, Thrushtail, not really able to be active due to some IRL stuff, Morningecho has been promoted to the deputy position (with both of their permissions of course)

I was planning to just erase thrushtail and go ahead like morningecho was always the deputy, but if anyone has like a cooler idea lmk

I think Morningecho is probably the best choice one could have picked as a replacement.
If you do go home with the slow villian arc and she succeeds him, the name Morningstar has some incredible poetic imagery alone. And then the fact that owls are creatures of the night and morning chases them away...
Not that Morningecho would need to constitute a non-villian leader.
I'm quite fond of stories where bad people usurp the previous bad person in power haha-

But I am getting ahead of myself.

Trushtail stepping down sounds like something intresting to explore- a person that pours all their effort into work being unable to carry out their duties. Though, given that his roleplayer is unable to be very active, it might be the best idea to just retcon it. Given Trushtail's personality description, I can't see them stepping down due to personal reasons, and the other options I can think of realy right now, is either contracting a severe sickness or injury that makes it impossible for them to carry out their job in any capacity, and that would require something way more serious than like one permamently deformed limb or two.

Unless you go ahead and make them mysteriously die or vanish, but well that is not an option if the roleplayer still wants them around as a warrior.

Ooh, I for so reason didn't think about it but Morningstar is a very cool name

I think I might go with the full retcon, but having him vanish or die would add some extra spice, and I could get a deputy ceremony in there, which would be fun to write

Some slightly bad news: I was planning to get back to my normal levels of activity by next Monday, but apparently I'm going to visit some relatives for spring break and I don't really want to be super active and then just vanish off the face of the earth. Will 100℅ be back on the 29th or 30th though

Speaking of, I'm trying to see how to make Sootpaw more of a "villain". I wanted to wait until he got his warrior name to start making him more of a potential threat. Maybe he could take part in some conflict.

ooh we're having more villains? I love the villains. what kind of conflict are we talking? Most of it currently is the clan just
not being very good at being a clan.


Also I don't know what to do with Nettlesnap? He is hardly important and I genuinely don't know how to move forward with him in this roleplay. Might have him go steal some kittypet food for funsies.

So, if you want him to be more on the villain team, maybe Owlstar could eventually win him over (I haven't super thought about exactly how yet lol) , which could create some interesting drama with Palewind (pretty sure she's not on Owlstar's "side" but I could be wrong), and Owlstar could try and manipulate him to get Nettlesnap to win over the rest of the clan (I'd have to think about this more, these are like my first thoughts)

Or maybe he could go the opposite route, and maybe down the line he could try and like expose Owlstar for whatever bad thing's he's done by then, (Potential for big dramatic scene) and that could also help like jumpstart Owlstar's decent into villainy, (A fight could break out?) where he starts to belive even more that force is what's needed to keep the clan in line or something like that

(That was a bit of a ramble and especially the 2nd one is more of a long term story idea, I could definitely try and cook up something for him more in the present but idk, obviously these are all just suggestions )

(Also Owlstar future villain arc confirmed, the story potential is just too juicy)

It's hard for me to explain for Sootpaw cause he isn't just a loner he got exiled and I feel like that would be exposed soon as to why

I swear I thought I hit post on this yesterday, but apparently I failed lol. Honestly a sootpaw/Owlstar allegiance sounds unexpected and good, regarding why Sootpaw was exiled. (Maybe potential betrayal from Sootpaw )

I've been wondering about a huge conflict taking place but I can't think of one that wouldn't result in any deaths though the beaver fight only really had injuries if I remember right.

Nettlesnap wouldn't change his opinion on someone so I'd prefer the second route, also like the drama
Since he's a rogue he would also find it a lot easier to point out flaws since it isn't really his clan anyway.

What kinda fight would there be? Like physical or no? Nettlesnap would literally get crushed immediately with how undersized he is
