Lady Rose/ Alright White Rose, can you believe it's already pride month?? The whole clan is celebrating diversity complimenting each other today and mourning for those lost to hate or inner demons.

ANCIENT PRIDE

Lady Rose/ This week the event will center around pride in where you are from, I would like you to theme a lion off your home land the best you can and post it.

requirement list.

1# must have at least 3 items or color patterns based on your culture.

2# explain and teach us why the lion is cultural.

This is a lioness I made, based off of Nigeria (Specifically Igbo Nigeria). She is green and white to represent the colour of our flag. Her decorations also have cultural significance. She has the Traveller's Palm decor to represent palm-wine music which I associate with Nigerian culture. She also has a cute little croc since we get those in Nigeria, and the Niger River background which Nigeria was named for. The Aging Cremello Horse represents the white horses on the Nigerian coat of arms. What I love about (Igbo) Nigeria is probably our unique naming traditions, since I am a massive name nerd. Also the story of the Igbo Landing (very empowering story) showcases some of our key values, most namely resilience. Also, I added the OG teeth mutation since a lot of Nigerians tend to have a gap between their front teeth, me included. My player ID is #432411 (Sorry if this looks weird- formatting is hard)

Additionally, the hair detail on the chin is a sideburn ("patilla"), which evokes the style of facial hair popular among 19th-century gauchos. More informally, there are also details such as the type of fish, which reminds me of a catfish, very common here, in addition, to having it in the mouth it refers to a colloquial expression ("catfish bites") that means to be hungry. Also, I have decided to add "interstellar smoke" because in addition to going well with the flag, it reminds me of Aurora, a military melody that was used as a troop march in the Falkland Islands. Although it is not the official anthem, it has a symbolic meaning for many Argentines.

Argentina is a source of pride simply for being Argentina. I love my homeland just as it is and strive to improve its flaws. We are a people who always rise up, known for our ingenuity in surviving (especially the older generations, who have experienced many significant events). My country is simply a source of pride, and its achievements are just further reasons to boast about my nationality. ♡

UNWANTED VISIT - QUEST 3 - DAY 1

Lady Rose: A scent is in the air today that I've only smelled on poachers.... A smell of lands far past the dunes, beyond the sea, maybe even beyond lands lions have ever touched... I think we should be ready for them, we need to ready the acacia trunk where we keep our cubs by using stones to rub off thorns and pat down fresh mud on the nursing dome, putting some gems in the walls to blind attackers might help too.

UNWANTED VISIT - QUEST 3 - DAY 2/6

Lady Rose: As the smell got closer in the wind, slowly raising the tension and fear in the clan, shapes in the morning light shake and waver as if the morning shadows mock our fear.
Cubs hold the spare gems ready to reflect them on the walls of their den, elders hold tight to the roots of the tree covered in mud, our warriors and exchange security hold their breath ready to strike.
The shapes are suddenly clear though what we finally see can not be real... Lions! huge lions! No hackles high, no fangs bared, we should cool these strangers down with shade and hear why they are here.

UNWANTED VISIT - QUEST 3 - DAY 3/6

Lady Rose: After allowing these giant lions to rest, our shaman used yesterday's herbs to care for their injuries.
As we sat down for our next meal the lions finally explained the strange smell they had.
Sitka, the leader of these lions told us that his pride are called "shale claws" and live so far away the deserts stop, the mountains soar into the sky, and clouds come down every winter that freeze exposed cubs to the bone.
Shocked our clan stares unsure how to take what we have just been told.

How to enter: send something small about Africa that we can teach them with a response to the announcement, and wait for it to be verified.

UNWANTED VISIT - QUEST 3 - DAY 4/6

Lady Rose: After the Shale claws took a few days to rest and listen to stories around the kill stones, Sitka told us that his pride was chased out by new humans with hooks that were used to climb the mountains. Sitka said all he wants is a new home.
We should look over our banana leaf maps and find out where the coldest places are, maybe take out a few poachers with our scouts.

How to enter: do a little research with us and find the coldest zone in Africa and the lowest temp there with something else about the land then make a response to the announcement, and wait for it to be verified.

Lady Rose: The search for a new cave to house the Shale claws was not a wasted effort, a cave so large even these massive lions was found in the south where it gets... pretty cold actually. There is... one problem however... The humans that seem to like us have noticed our new friends and are treating them like a spectacle, bringing more and more humans along to see them. We need to figure out how to hide these lions in their new home, make sure they will have peace there.

Lady Rose: It is time to say goodbye to the Shale Claws, the feeling is overwhelming.... We got to know these lions, we shared food with these lions... I am happy we met them. I have hope later in the future there will be chances to meet up with them again.

Sulphur: A present from the past.

Sulphur was the first lioness I ever had when I joined Lioden in august, 2023. My friend gave her to me, and she left me a beautiful cub before she passed away. Her cub is named Phosphorus (they are both elements on the periodic table, but Sulphur should've been spelt sulfur). <3

This is Ilieo, my huntmaster! Maybe I’m just sentimental, but she was my first ever lioness and will always be special to me. She reminds me of when I was brand new to this game and everything felt so big. She got up to level 26 from hunting and also lived the longest at 16 years! She served me well and will always have a spot in my dynasty
