boy oh boy this took a while

as the title implies, this is a collection of a bunch of fox-inspired bases! foxes have such a wide variety of coat colors that personally i'm surprised haven't been utilized before! (especially since like 3 of these 7 are native to africa)

credits of this idea goes to my good friend mocha! i wouldn't have realized the fox potential in lioden bases without her haha

ideally most of (if not all) these would be breed only bases <3
a few are rare, a few are specials, and a few are combos

anywho! let's get started!

fennec, shown w/ chamotte eyes
(cream light solid rare/special)

i'm leaning more toward this being rare but i could see it being a raffle base too tbh

(the base name came from one of this fox's nicknames hehe)
this would be one of the combo bases of the collection <3
the factors would be flaxen, soot x lilac, noctis
(flaxen because. well. flaxen. soot because it looks similar enough for it to work lmao. lilac because the first color on this base made me think of lilac. noctis because it's quite Dark)

this COULD be a combo base but it also works on its own. if it were a combo, i'm seeing slate, titanium x fiery, honey, ginger

(we both forgot arctic was an actual base so snow was the alternative lmao)
we have albino (common) and clear white (uncommon) so may as well continue the trend of white bases on different categories and make a rare white base >:)

inspired by the marble coloration of the red fox!
this would be a combo base :)
the factors would be platinum, chartreux x fiery, prune
(yknow. because marble foxes happen by people breeding silver foxes and red foxes together)
