If ever there is an alien invasion on planet Earth, there will definitely be an apocalypse. Automatically, there will be people who will do stupid things by nature such as those who will not feel like surviving an apocalypse because it is simply too much work. Then there are those who really want to do something stupid but just… do not know how. This is the guide for those people.
As a disclaimer for those finding this, I am one of those who did stupid things by nature. It has resulted in me hiding in an abandoned, run-down, wooden shack in the middle of the woods. These horrific beasts that arrived with the aliens have terrorized the human population and there are two trying to rip down my powerful and highly protected fortress I mentioned a moment ago to do God knows what to me. This guide is written from experience during the, most likely, last moments of an idiot.
Three water bottles, a flashlight, pepper spray, a pocket knife, my wallet, all in my light drawstring bag, which had flowers arrayed across its fabric to decorate it, plus my ukulele in its own bag. I always bring my just-in-case bag whenever I sneak out to hang with my friends, Rain and Eva, since we do a lot of walking around town. My mom tracks my location with an app called Life360 on my phone, so I make sure my fake GPS app is installed and make it look like I am at home as it should. Today, Rain was taking me to Suicide Hill, a place where he hung out often. We invited Eva; however, her mom would not allow her to tag along this time.

“Good morning, Anthony. You rested for eight total hours with four hours of deep rest. It is 7:00 a.m. Time to start your day!”
I slowly awoke as my Helper Bot, HB-2, recited his daily script. He helps me keep routine, just as everyone else's HB-2 does for them. The Helper Bots are small and shaped like a rounded cube with a connector on its back which can attach to your clothes on your arm. They have tiny arms to help with small tasks and have the ability to fly around, for as long as its battery is charged. Everyone has a set routine geared towards their specific job assignment. Every morning, I wake up, brush my teeth, wash my face, shave, get dressed, and head to work. No one has ever broken routine before, so no one knows what happens when you do, and no one wants to find out. Why would they anyway? Our lives are perfect and everyone is happy so there is no reason to want any change.
