I agree, I saw a lot of people either freezing their account and dip or just not log on the rest of the month for some reason(silly or not)
People need to know about this event, the poaching and shit, whether they'll be a part of it or not

I'm a little bit confused because there is already a minigame for March, poacher chase. They also just added the new breeding item Leopard Tail, and I saw a lot of buzz about coming off hiatus for that item. I don't disagree with you, but I'm not sure what else could be done? /gen

Lots of people know about the March event because it's infamous for its gore. It's almost always mentioned alongside February for the image censor. That's another factor that can prevent people from playing so often. People are also just... exhausted from February, like you said. I've been grinding for two months straight. Timers going off every 15 minutes in both January and February. March cannot be half as exciting or everyone would die, lol.

Lioden will almost never reach the active members count of February in other months. Some people only roll during February and freeze the rest of the year. That's a lot of side accounts waking up for February that are closing right back down.

i haven't been playing lioden for a long time, but after the grind of february and being online almost all day, every day, having to budget my beetles to make the most of the month, it feels really refreshing to have an uncomplicated event. i can relax and go back to simply enjoying the game without worrying about too much stuff.

the only complaint i have for this event is that we can't censor the images like we could in february. i wasn't really glad to have images of mating animals thrown in my face, and i'm not too happy with the gore either. i understand that they are images of real, horrible things that happen every day, but i think some of us aren't as comfortable with violent and graphic images as others.

Girlypop 🫧 (#459072) I agree with you... The gore and the animals made me uncomfortable at times and some censoring would be nice. After grinding in Feb a break is nice but some extra little things for this month like a little more ways to get RB would be cool. They come kinda slow for me from just exploring, but I might be missing some other ways to get them.

I miss a bit of interaction w the month. I have loved when you can interact w a lion oder some other animal, do task and get some sort of storyline. Maybe that would be nice, helping a rhino/lion/Cheetah/zebra baby find its parent/ herd or sum. There are sadly a lot of animals that get hunted down in so maybe you could take different task for different animals. Gather herbs for a hideout , kill a specific amount of poachers,...
U know, just to do more then just go exploring, more like exploring w the purpose to get the storyline going and helping the animals.

I have been playing Lioden for a year and enjoy the game quite intensely. The March event is a rather interesting one and indeed has a sort of awareness going on which most should be aware about, and most are aware about.

However. The March event in question does not have the best event items, most people not really being interested in the event. Not only that but March is right after Feburary and Feb has one of the biggest events of the year, with people grinding like crazy. Then when March comes along it tends to be a little more relaxing which gives people a break from the chaos before. Most of the players going off for a break and to relax before the next event, which is easter. The April event being up on the list of most looked at events as well.

March already includes a mini game in the games section and we just got two new items for the event. I agree they could maybe include something new, like how January has the treasure hunt, the March could perhaps have something like, Save the animals, in which your extra submales can go on let's say three quests a day to save an animal. The reward being something like (A Hero coin) or such. Then you can use the currency to get good things from the shop.

On another note, I do agree that some of the encounters should be covered, like the February event. Even with all of this though, we in question can not force or try and drag back players, since Feb will always be a big deal people might still want the break, but they perhaps might stay on for the event but not aggresively grind like before.

Maybe March could have something like July's Interstellar quest but for a Mukombero at the end? It could be completed whenever but could only be started during the March event, and would have similar entry requirements as the Interstellar quest.
Alternatively (or additionally), I don't like the idea of March having too big of a storyline directly after February, but maybe something simple like giving food and materials to make a shelter to the shopkeeper snake in exchange for a couple of energy roots at the end?

They have been planning the mukombero storyline for this month for the past four years (first time it was mentioned in this March news post from 2020), which will definitely add some more love to this month, but every March the storyline was delayed for a different reason. The first year they delayed it because they were working on Wolvden, and I believe they delayed it this year due working on the recode.

Hopefully they'll add it next year, but it's been pushed back so many times; I wouldn't be surprised at all if it wasn't added next year.

I support this suggestion, but mostly just supporting because I agree with you. Tbh I feel like the solution to this is probably going to be the muk storyline if/when they decide to add it though.

I like the thought behind the idea. Maybe go for a different approach, something as simple as logging in every day to get a March-exclusive item at the end of the month. That would encourage players to keep getting on during the event.

Agree with GalaxyMoon15, that would definitely increase interested in the event maybe an achievement and an items set? Like 1 Background, 1 Base, 1 Animal Decor, 1gb. Something like that put together.
