Hello all. I've played countless breeding sim games, but I've never tried a game like this where you only have one male (at the start at least, I see there are "sub-male" slots to unlock). It seems like in-breeding would be super common with such a setup, so I had a few questions I'd greatly appreciate answers to. 1. I see a lot of discussion of clean and dirty lions - are clean lions generally more desirable? 2. What proportion of players would you estimate care about avoiding inbreeding? 3. I saw on the trivia page key that inbreeding has no in-game effects, just to be sure, does this mean there are no "health" implications of having inbreeding in your lines? 4. I also saw that there is something called a "clean rep" that allows you to wipe inbreeding from your lion's heritage. Is this what happens when you replace your king when he dies with a new king with an identical appearance and wiped stats? Does this cost anything to do? Thanks so much for the help! 0 players like this post! Like? |

1. Generally, yes - the site is roughly divided in half with one half of users caring about heritage, and the other not caring about heritage. Its pure math that if you keep your lions clean, you could find buyers in both groups, while if you inbreed, only people who dont care about inbreeding will be interested in your cubs - leaving you with less potential buyers for your cubs. 2. Roughly half in half - no exact numbers, but no side is much bigger than the other. 3. There are no gameplay effects of inbreeding at all, health or otherwise. Its just a line of text on lions' heritage, nothing more. 4. You need a clean heir to do that - by choosing Keep old king's looks, you will then get a king with your old king's base, markings, mane, etc. but the heritage, mutation, and stats of the replacer. If you replace your king with a G1 groupie male from May event, he will become heritageless. It costs the same as retiring your king, 10 GB if below 15 years old. You CANNOT use Reroll Lion item to do it, it wont let you keep old king's looks. 0 players like this post! Like? |

1. Yes! Clean lions are seen as more value wise, but dirty lions are okay as well! 2. I personally don't care about the past heritage of lions, I just tend to avoid inbreeding them further. People do like having squeaky clean lions though, I'd assume more dedicated players are more strict 3. Dirty lions don't effect mutation or health. It's just a preference that players have. 4.Yes! If your king is old enough, you should be able to be do it for free, but if not, it'll cost you 10 gb. 25 if the current king was kinged less than a month ago! Hope this helps! 0 players like this post! Like? Edited on 06/03/24 @ 10:35:31 by FESTIVEFRUITS🍌[BRIGHT COLORS] (#147014) |
