It had been a long day. A long, same old schedule day of existing just to be tormented. This time, a camper decided that throwing a snake into Apollo cabin would be a great idea, and it would have if it weren't for the fear of snake's that all of Apollo's children had. It didn't matter if Lukuro was actually afraid of snake's, but when you're around brothers and sisters who are almost just like you, as well as being unpleasantly surprised, you tend to not think before panicking. Thankfully, Chiron had the snake removed from their cabin.

Currently though, Lukuro was sitting up against a tree as he basked in the shade. It was cooler than the sunlight and the cold helped to calm him down during intense emotions. It was always safer to calm down than to address them anyways, he wasnt about to become the very thing he hated.

It was early in the morning when Oliver was awoken from his deep slumber from the morning sunrise peeking through the wooden boards of the cabin. He wasn't happy in the slightest but he enjoyed the sun but with his sensitive eyes he had to stay in darkness or at least the shade so he slowly started to get dressed in the dark before walking out to the main yard looking for some shade where he could watch the other cabins and the forest surrounding them. "Good morning Chiron how are you this morning?" He said as he passed Chiron holding a snake

The stallion greeted Oliver back politely. "Ah, good morning, Oliver. How are you?" Chiron asked as he stopped and waved to a passing satyr to help with the snake. The satyr gladly took the snake and the reptile calmed down. "Poor creature. I will have to have to a talk with whoever is behind this," he muttered underneath his breath

Lukuro heard their small talk and looked up. "Morning," he hummed and ran a hand through his hair, pushing the messy strands out of his face. "Another day in paradise, thanks, Moti." He nodded towards the satyr who smiled back and took the snake away

How was your night have you gotten a quest yet I heard that she was going to start giving them out this week" he said smiling as he walked over to the tree and sat down a few feet away from Luk. He was blushing a little but it was mainly just friendly he didn't feel any affection towards him yet but that would all change in the next few days

The blonde shrugged. "Nothing so far. The only nightmare I've had is waking up to people screaming." He chuckled and picked up a stick before tapping it against the side of his boot in a small rhythm similar to an old song. "How about you? Anything new with you like new campers or such?" Lukuro asked as he glanced over at Oliver. He couldn't imagine how lonely it felt without any siblings, sometimes he wondered what it would be like to be living in silence again.




(the rhythm is The Cup Song / Cups / When I'm Gone lol. I can see Luk singing it and when it gets to the I got my ticket for the long way 'round. The one with the prettiest of views. It's got mountains, it's got rivers. It's got sights to give you shivers. But it sure would be prettier with you. that he ends up looking at Oliver during it and it comes off as flirting lol)

"it's been alright so far but it is kinda lonely being the sole child of Hades maybe next year it'll be different" he said sighing as he watched luk tap on his boot and enjoyed listening to the rhythm he was subconsciously blushing bright red and smiling at Luk

"Well, technically you're like the only biological child of Hades. Hades technically adopted Melinoe when he found out what Zeus did to Persephone so Melinoe is like your step sister or something like that." He chuckled, not mentioning how Oliver seemed rather red in the face. Perhaps he was just embarrassed about being lonely, or maybe it was the heat from the sun. "Maybe someone will end up joining you this year, who knows."

(Fun fcat: in some roleplays I do, Luk is the grandson of Hades and his dad Augustine (the one who managed to pull Apollo in) was the son of Hades. This meant that Lukuro was allowed to be in Hades cabin as he was partially claimed. Of course this would be weird if this was the case in this rp cause then Oli and Luk would technically in a way be Uncle and Nephew XD )

" youre right but I never see Melinoe anymore she is always out in the woods having adventures she is always summoning her ghosts to torment me" he said huffing before he looked towards the forest bending the shadows to cause more shade for the pair "its kinda hot out here it really annoying how you sun demi's can have fun out here while I look like a pale ghost and get burned under the lights in the cabin" he said laughing softly blushing even more.

"She's fun to be around though, she's probably busy haunting people." He then smiled lightly at Oliver's complaint. "You don't look like a ghost, you're more like a vampire and those guys are cool. But I also hate being in the sun too long. I'm sensitive to light and have like photophobia... which is weird because it's not a fear. But if you want, I can do a little magic for ya." Lukuro looked at the sunny spot that was closer to Oliver and focused on moving it. The light moved away from Oliver and he smiled more

"'Then you’d be my half brother, silly. You can’t date somebody from your own cabin. Yuck!” “But aren’t all the gods related?” Jason asked. "So isn’t everyone here your cousin or something?" "Aren’t you cute! Sweetie, the godly side of your family doesn’t count except for your parent. So anybody from another cabin—they’re fair game. So who’s your godly parent—mom or dad?'" It's because god DNA doesn't actually count as blood because they dont even have blood lol)

'true i mean your not wrong she is sweet but I don't really appreciate her just ditching me for days at a time I get lonely sometimes and no one wants to talk to the hades kids we're weird to them but I can be cool too you just have to let me open up to you and show you" he said smiling as he watched the sun dance away from his spot and back into the rest of the sun rays. He took out his knife and started twirl it around his fingers enjoying the danger of if he let go he would be hurt but he was confident in his control over it

"Oi, give yourself some credit, man. You're pretty chill and pretty cool in my book. Then again, your dad is Hades so you inherited his chillness." He hummed and watched Oliver twirl the blade around. "Though, Melinoe sometimes has to disappear, she takes like a ghost y'know? And you can do the same can't ya? Like with shadow traveling and stuff like that. That's super cool in my opinion, not weird at all."

"Yeah youre right i can shadow travel but I'm not really good at it yet I'm still practicing and working on it" he said softly as he continued to focus on the blade before throwing it at a nearby tree and sticking it in 2-3 inches "I know Melinoe has to leave sometimes but its not easy being the only person in the cabins when she does i wish i could finally get a prophecy and leave this camp and live my life being free"

"Who knows, maybe you're lucky and get a quest. But if you do, I'll miss talking to ya so you better come back at least once to tell me you're still alive." He frowned a little, his mind not wondering what it'd be like at the camp without Oli there. Oliver was practically the only one he could call a true friend. The others were.his siblings and the other campers all though of him as insane because of his habits. Oli was the only one he actually felt somewhat comfortable being around and talking to without feeling on edge about saying something wrong. He would definitely be missing him if he got a quest and had to go

"Well i can always pick you to come with me on my quest silly. I would love to have you come with me if you want it would be a lot easier if I had help and beside you could help move the light so I don't get hurt or worse burned" he said smiling softly as he moved closer to Luk. Oliver was so happy and was blushing slight pink now and he was falling in love with Luk even more by the second "its getting close to lunch time do you want to go hang out inside and have lunch together?" he said as he offered his hand to Luk

Lukuro hummed in thought. "Sure, but don't be surprised if Apollo kids look at us like we're insane for sitting next to each other. Also, you may wanna think twice before picking me to join you on a quest. And it depends on the prophecy too, it may require someone else to join you." He was rather flattered that Oliver wanted him to join him, but he knew that it wouldn't be a good idea given how he had been tempted by Kronos before
