He felt his breath get caught in his throat some from Oliver's words. He hadnt had any sort of friend before, minus animals, and so gearing Oliver call him a best friend made him happy. "Thanks... and ah yeah, it would be best to sit out here. Too much noise here." He looked around cautiously before picking up a small plate from the stack in order to get his food. "I wonder... who is all getting a prophecy and what they're about. Must be important if multiple are being given in a single week. I hope that doesn't mean the gods are needing all of us."

Oliver smiled softly as he followed Lukuro through the line and started to stack his plate as high as he could to get as much food as possible. "What do you think my prophecy will be I think that it should be long and scary and require lots of courage and strength but then again I'm a scaredy cat and would rather stay in my nice warm bed than go deal with monsters and especially Echidna, or Keres they scare me" he said sighing as he followed Luk outside back to their shaded spot before he sat down right next to Luk and started to eat with him

The difference between the two males were constant in everything they did. While Oliver was tall, muscular, preferred the shadows, and even ate more, he was the opposite to Lukuro. Lukuro was short, not at all muscular, preferred the heat of the sun, and barely ate at all. Perhaps opposite attracts was true between the two of them, like yin and yang or balance.

"I'm not sure. I may be an Apollo kid but I can't always tell what a prophecy is supposed to mean, not even dad does and yet its his oracle." He chuckled and sat down in the sun but still stayed near Oliver. "Perhaps it'll be a simple one, maybe an item retrieval. It could also be tedious like fighting off a god."

"true maybe it'll be easy I'll just have to see later on when I go check with the Oracle " he said smiling as he started eating his lunch enjoying his company with Luk. "Hopefully it is just a quick and easy quest maybe a silly chalice was stolen and we have to find it" he said giggly softly.


After he finished his lunch we went to the Oracle to see if he had finally gotten one today and she told him this

Once he hears that prophecy he ran back to Luk and told him everything

Lukuro had been in his cabin waiting for Oli to come back. There were a few other kids there, checking their things for anymore surprises but Lukuro has been sitting on his bunk doing some cross stitch. It was of a lighthouse on the beach, something he had been told by Apollo that Augustine had loved to do if his own free time. When he saw Oli enter the cabin, startling the others, he sat up while Oliver told him what the Oracle had said

After Oliver finished the prophecy, Luk nodded and wrote it down in a journal. "Let's break it down line by line," he hummed and looked at the first two. "Shadows deep and light's embrace... two demigods. Well that means there's no third wheel this time, just you and someone else, which is weird... don't prophecies always do something with threes?"

"true it is kinda weird that it doesn't have three people but I think breaking down that line shadows deep is definitely me and the lights embrace has to be someone from the Apollo cabin so I guess I am taking you how lucky am I" he said giggling softly as he noticed the lighthouse that Luk was working on. " The chalice of Ganymede must be missing so we have to go look for it and it's veiled in night so could it be in the underworld? Where else is it eternal night Lukuro?" He said running his fingers through his hair trying to think of the answer

"Tartarus. Or if we're talking about mortal earth, then that one place that doesn't get sun for like half the year. Like it's called Polar Night and its usually night for most of the time." He set down his cross stitch and tapped cheek. "Then again, we're talking about gods, so eternal darkness could mean literally anywhere. The opposite would be the midnight sun, where day never ends. That could be shadows deep and light's embrace. And if its both, then that would be the Arctic and Antarctic Circles. Because why would a prophecy mention two demigods three times? Shadows deep and light's embrace, Two demigods, and then it mentions Hades and Apollo by name.... oh wait, I just answered my own question, it's threes."

"take a deep breath Lukuro we can check all of those places Ganymede doesn't have a end date he just wanted it back when we find it so we can be looking for as long as it takes. Let's pick one place to go check together I suggest the Arctic circle I heard it's so beautiful up there this time of the year and the snow has melted a bit so there's green forests. We could go see the Northern lights together that could be fun while we go look for the chalice" he said holding Luks hands calming him down

Lukuro took a deep breath and nodded. "Right, right. The arctic is also less dangerous than Tartarus so we'll be safer... but who's Ganymede? I've never heard of him before, is he a minor god?" He glanced down at their intertwined hands and bit his lip. He often overwhelmed himself with prophecies un the past, leading to the death of one of Poseidon's kids. "He lost his favourite cup and is sending two demis to find it... there has got to be a catch right?"

"I'm not sure what he is the god of but if he is sending two demis to find it then it has to be very important and powerful I say we just go find it whenever we can and just enjoy our time outside of camp in the world" he said smiling softly as he rubbed his thumbs on lukuros hands calming him down even more. "When do you want to leave silly I have to go get my weapons from my cabin but then I'm ready to go"

"I can go get the travel backpacks. But if we're going to the arctic, we'll need warm stuff because if there's no real sunlight, I won't be able to keep us warm there." He heard one of the other kids giggling and looked over at them. The kid was facing them with a smirk and motioned to their hands. They were being teased for holding hands. "But yeah, I think I can get ready pretty quickly so we can go."

"ok thank you Luk I'll meet you at the tree in a few minutes just come find me whenever you're ready to leave" he said smiling as he started to manipulate the shadows to scare the other kids and made hissing sounds to mimic the snakes that they were deathly afraid of. "have a wonderful time Apollo kids I hope you learn to be nice to strangers and especially other campers" he skad ad he walked out towards the tree

When Oliver left, Lukuro stood up to begin gathering up his supplies. He didn't know what exactly would be needed but he hoped that he coul get everything situated. Of course, Carlos, one of the other Apollo kids, wouldn't stop teasing him about liking Oli.

"No wonder you're around him so much, it's obvious he likes you, ask him out." He groaned at Carlos and put his headphones on to block out Carlos while he got ready

Oliver sat down at the tree in the shadows rising up little shadow puppets that he used in mock battles while he waited for Luk to meet him when he finished packing up all of his supplies and clothes. Oliver was just happy sitting in the shade playing with the shadows and his rope dart that he would practice his aim on apples that were growing in the tree
