What gameplay feature is this bug affecting? Hunting What's the issue? Please include any error messages you receive and as much detail as possible. I've sent out four hunts today on this account and have brought back a GMO chicken in every single hunt (4 total so far and counting) which feels... Like something might be wrong. Either I am experiencing a ridiculous amount of luck which I guess is not impossible, or something has caused GMO chickens to run rampant in hunting rewards in far excess of their estimated odds. Any links relating to this bug? For example, if a particular lion is bugging, what is the link to that lion? Any screenshots you can provide us with? I didn't start screenshotting until recently, but I'll start doing so now. This was my most-recent hunt returned with my fourth GMO chicken.  I've been donating the GMO chickens to my clan's hoard so this is proof I've gotten four so far (not including the one I just got above which I haven't done anything with) - All GMO chickens were donated immediately after I hunted them so the timestamps validate that I've gotten all these chickens just today.  Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible: I've been hunting in the Plains tile for a hunting quest and that's what's making me bring back all these GMO chickens, so if other folks can hunt in plains and get GMO chickens, then that would be how to replicate it successfully.  15 players like this post! The absurd amount of chickens + the uptick in failed hunts for big, experienced teams that normally bring home two 3-5 use carcasses per hunt is making it harder to feed my pride, which only numbers 60 head. If not for explore yielding good carcasses I'd have to buy food. Pouring one out for everyone with truly huge prides. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

it's the same for me. I could typically feed my pride of ~200 lions as long as I did 10+ hunts for the day and now I'm to the point where I have to buy food every few days 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I'm having the same problem. For the first time in LITERAL YEARS I am having trouble feeding my lions because all I keep getting from any tile is a GMO chicken. Edited to add: Several of my hunts have just been double chickens today. It's like they are mocking me since I decided to post about it. Something is wrong. The chickens continue to haunt me. I've noticed something- it's almost as though the rarity values have been scrambled. I'm not just getting lots of chickens, they just stand out more since they're something I normally only see once in a great while. I'm going to log my next twenty hunts, all on the grassy tile since there's always at least five, and see what I get. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I've started hunting with 4 lions instead of 5 and it's been helping a bit weirdly enough. I've definitely gotten less of the double chicken/leg hunts! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Been getting legs and chickens to the point I'm tempted to quit until it's fixed. I can't feed all of my lions even with ten hunts a day, and I don't even have a crazy pride size. It was better there for a bit, but now they've been popping up again. Imo, if they can't get it fixed soon enough the drops for them should just be disabled all together. I can't keep buying food off trades or from Monkey Business, and I shouldn't have to downsize my pride just to feed them all when I have no problems doing it with hunts working correctly. Also, I've noticed my lionesses failing hunts a lot more and not bringing anything back, which has NEVER happened to me in the years I've been playing, not even during the January events where it's supposed to be a frequent occurrence. (ETA: I wonder if the server migration is partially at fault for the skewed chicken/legs going crazy) 4 players like this post! I return with maneee stats. To avoid making a giant post, I'm going to link to my hunting trials and breakdowns of success/fail rates + prey rarity and usefulness for each. I ran two different trials of twenty hunts and compared them to some historic runs of twenty from my user log. Click here for my results! In short: Rare events clearly have had their probability boosted, somehow. The chickens stand out the most, but the rate of rare and uncommon catches has gone up sharply too, as has the frequency which teams that should not fail hunts due to experience, are failing. Less than half of all prey now captured is of the common rarity sometimes, and the common carcasses are actually the best ones to feed, so we're suffering. 2 players like this post! Like? |
