Henna would just huff as he got up. Nearly squashing some rude cub who was chasing a back. He'd stare at the cub and growl before biting at it to scare it off. Obviously not BITING it just nipping before walking back off under a tree. Swallowing himself into the ground below it and grooming himself.

Aphid's gaze flicked to Polly, intrigued. 'Okay..' He nodded, pausing to look at the cubs. 'I'll be right back. to go get things.' The lion stood up and neatly placed the ladybug onto the top of the leather satchel, hurriedly padding back to the safety of his own den. He glanced back at the entrance one inside then sat down, letting Darling crawl off his paw and back onto the thriving asparagus fern growing in the den, and allowing a stick bug - undeniably his favourite, to go in the ladybug's place. The stickbug raised its antennae, its movements jerky as a consequence of losing a leg from one of its last molts. Aphid wasn't too concerned; he'd had enough stickbugs to know they usually grow legs back.

Polly huffed at Henna as he walked off, making sure the cub was okay. She nodded towards Aphid. "Okay, we'll meet back here then." She gave him a smile before herding the cubs off to go find Violet. As they entered the nursery, she quickly found Violet. "Hey. How does taking the cubs to that big oak tree by the river?" She asked Violet as she flicked her tails around for the couple of cubs still playing with them.

Violet looks up at Polly. “Ok! Jewel is there as well. She told me that she was going to the big oak tree to looks for stuff.” She says with a purr. She stands up, smiling warmly. She shakes off some dirt off her fur.

Polly smiled, flicking a bug off her ear. "Okay! The more the merrier!" She stretched out her front legs. "Aphid is getting a few things, but he should be meeting us at the cave entrance." She explained as she watched a pair of cubs wrestling each other playfully.

Aphid padded back out, now accompanied by the stickbug who was feeding on a bramble inside the lioness' satchel. He sat down in the middle of camp, occasionally glancing at Henna as if worried the much larger lion would suddenly growl at them like he did the cubs. Speaking of cubs..
Aphid mrrowed at one nearby; a young albino cub he had grown fond of over her few moons of life. He carefully takes something out of the bag, a bundle of feathers with colourful green dye in their centres. It was a little decoration the cub had asked for a while back, and the albino cub squealed in delight upon seeing it. She took it in her mouth and gratefully bumped her head against Aphid's before running off to show off their new trinket, using it to decorate their tail and as a toy. Aphid didn't have the heart to point out it was supposed to be an ear decoration, let the cub have their fun.

Shhitt. He forgot about that walk. The lion lifts their head and looks at the entrance to the nursery, feeling awkward just sitting there instead of walking over immediately.

A group of cubs ran out of the nursery, towards the entrance. "Hey, I'll go watch them, come out and meet us when you're ready." She gave the lioness a departing smile, following the cubs out towards the entrance. She smiled at the albino cub as she bound by. "She looks happy." She spoke to Aphid, walking up to stand next to him.

Violet walks over to Aphid, her pelt shining. “I see you have a favorite.” She says, teasing. She playfully baps Aphid’s nose. Her tail was playfully twitching as she baps Aphid’s nose.

Phoenixs ares twitched letting out a small huff, he wasn’t the best in groups when going out into the territory anyway. Without another word to the group he made his way out into the territory his tail swishing behind him. It was fine he didn’t want to be around them anyway. At least that’s what he told himself. It seemed Aphid hadn’t wanted him there anyway, so it was whatever.

Henna would grumble as he caved into himself with a annoyed or somewhat upset grumble. Tugging his paws and tail into him as close as he could. Pushing himself into the tree with another grumble. He'd close his eyes but didn't fall asleep.. Just kind of resting.

Aphid shrank back in surprise, flattening his ears back to his skull at the touch. 'I was just being nice..' The lion murmured unconvincingly and sat up straighter. 'She asked for a decoration. Wanted to "look like a hummingbird", far as I remember.' The young lion mrrows, brushing his paws against the soil and leaving a green tinted print from the dye that had stayed on his paws in the making of the gift.

Violet smiles. “The cub always was decorations. Not in a bad way tho. Jewel always has hummingbird feathers to give to the cub.” She says, smiling warmly. “I’m sure Jewel found a lot of cool and cute bugs to give to you.” She says with a purr.

Polly smiled, "Speaking of Jewel. We should go down and meet up with her." She suggested, flicking her tail as one of the cubs nipped it. "Plus the cubs can run a bunch of their energy off before tonight." She chuckled.
