And since there are tarot themed items already...why not a tarot themed story? The main plot would be your king going through the major arcana and the event shop would be themed after the minor arcana (new decors and apps). There are already npcs in the encounters and the shamanistic herbs could send your king into like...some kind of spiritual trance or whatever and they start seeing tarot!spirits or something. Also the storyline shopkeeper would be the lobster from the Rider Waite Smith The Moon card because reasons. Though instead of humans I feel the tarot!spirits would be various animals, like the emperor would be a ram like on the card art. It wouldn't be like telling the future but wisdom stuff, like how the Hermit card usually means sometimes you have to take a step back to reevaluate introspective stuff, but reversed means you may be isolating yourself too much, etc.

As for the NPCs in the encounters, I'm thinking that each has a different way of approaching spirituality and the conflict is based around that. You get like...3 or 4 possible endings depending on who you side with, but no choice is "wrong". I'm also looking at bonus cards in other decks like how the Ethereal Visions Illuminated Tarot Deck has 2 extra Major Arcana cards or how the Terra Volatile Tarot Deck has a 5th Minor Arcana suit (Vessels) which is Spirit/Aether/Quintessence to the rest of the Minor Arcana's 4 elements. Of course there would be decors/apps themed around the various cards and extra encounters, but I feel it'd really make the month more exciting besides people just looking for mukombero...

(Honestly I'd love to be involved with the story personally but I'm not employed by Lioden so yeah)

Idea for event shopkeeper/quest giver: the lobster from the Rider Waite Smith The Moon Card, decor, applicators, usable items, etc mainly based around the major arcana both from the classic Rider Waite Smith deck and the Shamanic Tarot art here on Lioden (some of the backgrounds on the classic cards would be cool with our lions)

Idea for event unlock #1: the black and white sphinxes from the Rider Waite Smith The Chariot card, a special decor shop based around the minor arcana (water!cups, earth!pentacles/coins, fire!wands and air!swords, and if you wanna advertise a specific deck-the Terra Volatile tarot-then also aether/spirit!vessels)

Idea for event unlock #2: an ancient baobab tree where a peppy teenage lioness helps you mix the herbs as she is an apprentice to the lion shamans. Tier 1 is the roots (and slightly underneath them) and is where she mixes the herbs. We'd unlock the hollow inside the tree for tier two which is based on the Rider Waite Smith The Hanged Man. Your king gets a slight bonus to skill once a day (hanging upside down, looking at stuff from a different perspective). There are also paintings on the inside of the tree. Tier three is unlocking the top/canopy of the tree where your king can look above the branches at the clouds or stars depending on the time of day and...unsure what.

Idea for Event exclusive item #1: Mystic Scroll (from the Rider Waite Smith the High Priestess card) (tastes sweet but is bitter in your stomach) increases chance of something in explore, maybe certain event encounters?

Idea for Event Exclusive item #2: Changing Chalice (based on the 7 of Cups Rider Waite Smith card) something to do with random chance but not a random marking applicator...something else...

Idea for Event Exclusive item #3: Full Vessel (based on the Ace of Vessels Terra Volatile tarot card) for a certain amount of time, boosts your impression gain by double (this would be the one users would save up for/hoard lol)

Feel there would be a 4th event exclusive item that would be saved up for/hoarded but I'm unsure what else is lacking on here...

Oh, and the shamanistic herbs would have actual uses this month but only this month (lore reason maybe without the shaman!lions you can't prepare them right)

It would be nice if the october storyline was finished too...maybe it could bridge into this event?

Adding the prehistoric/fossil stuff to the mix, still brainstorming but any input is appreciated! Some people in main chat mentioned a dinosaur footprint hunt, so I thought of perhaps following said footprints and seeing them change-slowly-into the modern shamanistic tarot animal footprints, representing how true wisdom is timeless and that the tarot spirits changed over the eons.
