So I can't be the only one who has set up a trade and wanted to edit the BO or the 'requirements' section for offers without losing the watchers you've gotten from the trade already. I'm not sure if this has been suggested already and shot down, or if it got buried, but I think it would be such a good quality of life adjustment. Like I mentioned above, the reason this would be so beneficial is for people selling high priced items/large trades/Hybrid trades/RLC trades for multiple reasons: JUST TO CLARIFY, I AM NOT ASKING FOR THE CONTENTS OF THE TRADE TO BE CHANGED! That can too easily be exploited, the most it would be is BO, as long as any offers available when the BO is changed are dropped to give watchers/bidders a chance to check the new BO 1. Trade center pricing rising and falling due to popularity OR other trades (trying not to undersell/oversell) Example: Breeding item prices rising and falling during events, someone else putting up a similar Lion for a different price (price matching) 2. Changing the little section where you can write suggestions for offers, maybe you changed your mind on what you're willing to accept Example: Accepting no Lions! > I will accept NRLCs of this line! * #281374 suggested: I was thinking maybe a pop up along the lines of, "this trade has been edited/altered, please recheck details" (only appears once). Or a little cooldown after the trade has been changed. - Basically, if the trade has been altered, a message would be sent to those offering, and maybe even those watching and allow them to view the trade, and possibly even a certain cooldown of editing for the person making the trade so there's no quick editing. * #353972 suggested: I think when someone is editing their trades, all offers could automatically be declined while sending a notice to those players as well as the watchers that the trade has been updated. I believe a 5 minutes or so cooldown once the trade has been altered would reduce the chance that someone buy the trade before seeing the newly edited one, or, send an error to the person trying to buyout on the previous page similar to the ''This trade no longer exists.'' popup. - Kinda similar to above, but I wanna list all good suggestions, as this one I feel goes more into possible ways they can avoid exploitation for both the trade owner and those watching/buying * #227242 suggested: Instead of deleting and recreating it you could have a "Disable and Edit" button. When you use it anyone watching the trade could receive a pop-up along the lines of "A trade you are watching has been disabled for editing", and then maybe something like "Click here to un-watch" or "Click here to view." A disabled trade could then only be viewed by those already watching it/with pending offers, but they would only be able to un-watch/remove offers, very limited interaction, NO Buy Out/Make an Offer section. Then there would be a notification when it is reenabled such as "A trade you were watching has been edited and relisted, click here to view." It could be very similar for those with outstanding offers "A trade you made an offer on has been disabled for editing", "Click here to remove offer", and "A trade you made an offer on has been relisted, click here to view." Then, just to guarantee those with offers re-check the trade, they could be "forced" to view their offer, or given a pop up like "This trade has been edited, click here to update you offer". - This makes a lot of sense, and would be great combined with the ideas above to do something like: "This trade has been disable and edited. Your offer of (blank) was removed for your review of the contents. Click here to view the trade" This would make it more fair and safe for those offering so a BO or whatnot wasn't changed and then their offer taken without them viewing etc! I would really love to see this become a reality at some point, as a person who sells high priced lions a lot, taking down a trade to edit it when I have ten watchers could possibly lose me offers if they never go looking again. Also, if this has been mentioned and shot down before, lmk! |

No support, this just seems unnecessary and like it would cause so many more issues than it’d solve 0 players like this post! Like? |

Honestly I'm gonna no support. A lot of people who watch trades just watch them to see if it will sell, especially with more high value lions. Just relist, if its that much of a high value lions people will still search it up anyway 0 players like this post! Like? |

I do support being able to edit the title and description, but definitely not the trade contents or buyout price... so I'm really on the fence 0 players like this post! Like? |

The contents are a definite no, that’s not what this is talking about. However, if you were able to change buyout AND player’s offers were removed so you couldn’t take advantage, would you support buyout changes? 0 players like this post! Like? |
