Bases are the one only part of Liodens with no guessing or random flare to them, each outcome can be predicted and relied on. Since we have random mutations and random rosettes, it feels fitting to add some bases that have their own element of unpredictability.

The Planetary Set

The planetary set is a group of 8 bases, all combos from the same two factors. The 8 include Mercury, Venus, Mars, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. When breeding the two factors together, all 8 bases have an equal chance to spawn (when the initial 2% chance produce a combo is triggered) So any breeding between Interstellar and Solaris could produce any of the 8.
 

Won't this get confusing?

The function works the same as a normal combo, just reversed so that there are more combos than combo factors. For breeders, it'll introduce a challenging new project while maintaining value and appeal because of the unique mechanic. Even then, if you breed one of the bases you weren't hoping for, a swap on TC would fix it right up.
