Welcome!
The Marovae are six legged creatures that resemble the modern deer! They have large mouths on their chests used for battle and hunting.
They can eat meat, but they prefer plants by a lot!
Though, this isn't to say they don't have normal mouths where they'd be expected to be. Their other mouth is used for consuming food and for caring for their young.

- - -
Currently not accepting any requests! My life has gotten busy and I am having less time to work on marovae, apologies!

Information!

I'll accept near any item as long as it equals the amount needed to do whatever you want to do!
If you also post art, I'll even accept art as payment!
Here's some items listed I'll accept though :

You can use the marovae as your own characters if you want! I just ask I am credited for creating them :)
If you'd like me to send larger pngs through pm, let me know!
I'll keep track of all marovae generated, and they'll always be here!

This isn't a closed species, so create some if you'd like! I don't really mind if people create designs that wouldn't naturally be on a marovae either. Again, I just ask for the credit for creating the species, but have fun!

(Toyhouse : Leaff)

Mutations!
That's right! Marovae can be mutated >:)
There's a chance to find mutated marovae while exploring as well as the chance for fawns to be born mutated!

Current Mutations
Wings : These marovae have...adapted?
Piebald : These marovae have splotches where pigment just doesn't appear!
Multiple Eyes : At least they aced their eye exam?
Double Uterus : Yep! Females have the chance to have the double uterus mutation, which doubles the fawns they'll have.
Elemental : These marovae contain...strange features? That one's legs look watery! That one's almost consumed in fire!

Bioluminescence : A cave marovae exclusive! They'll have glowing patterns on their coats.

Frozen : A tundra marovae exclusive! These marovae have adapted so well they're basically a part of the terrain!

The Shop!
The shop is listed below the main post on page 1, feel free to look around! This is where you'll find the available items you can use!

The Painter!
The painter is found below the main post on page 1, here you can get a custom marovae design!

The Ranch!
Some marovae end up abandoned in the wild by unknown circumstance, but they'll be taken care of here!
Any unwanted fawns bred by players will also be kept here as well, and are available to be adopted for 100sb!

Sometimes there's cases of extraordinary marovae! These marovae will often times not have natural genes, resulting in super unique coats that wouldn't exist elsewhere!
They are able to participate in what other marovae can, like breeding! Their unique traits can be passed to offspring, and due to their unique anatomy it is likely to pass onto fawns as well.

These marovae are available to be bought for the price of 25!

Your void and meadow explores!

Meadow

The fragrance of flowers bids you hello as you arrive at the meadows. The marovae herds that reside here seem very calm today, almost all of them deciding they'd rather take a nap in the warmth of the sun. You decide that seems like a good idea too! So, you pick a grassy spot with pink flowers to lay around in. Though, when you lay back, you immediately realize that part of this grass wasn't grass at all! A startled marovae raises her head at your unexpected presence, seems this resting spot is already taken!

Void

The strange terrain isn't easy to walk on in the void, but you manage. You can hear the clatter of what is likely creatures of this dark space brawling for territory, or maybe food. The farther you venture, the more uncanny this area gets! A lake is in view- but it's on the ceiling. And there's a lake of lava not even two miles away from it! But... it's on the side of whatever this giant space is. You decide you don't want to test what sea serpent could plummet from the ceiling, and go to look at the lava zone. From out outskirts of course.

As quickly as you arrive, a rather goopy and red looking marovae bolts right past you! It looks like it's coat was developed as camouflage, considering it's not actually lava. It's ears perk when it takes notice of the unknown presence, and it's trajectory changes right towards you! With an offering of a rather large fruit from the overworld, it skids to a stop in order to receive the soothing treat.

@Aspen
Sorry for the wait! Your meadow and cave explores are done, highland explores are still being worked on! :)

The Meadow

Green greets you all around as you step into the peaceful field. The grass is calming as it sways in the gentle breeze, marovae happily grazing further down the field. A rather large flower patch takes your attention, so you head over to it. The flowers are gorgeous, a few bees seem to agree. Or maybe they just like the pollen and nectar, who knows.

You continue to enjoy the atmosphere of tranquility around you, until your thoughts are halted by the sound of a sudden sneeze.

Once you look up, you see an oddly shaped green mound with the flowers...and it sneezes again. It raises its head, showing it's a marovae and not a new species of grass. It keeps sneezing and eventually leaves the flowers, maybe it's the pollen.

The Cave

The bioluminescent fauna of the cave keeps your path clear as you go deeper into the darkness. As you keep walking, you eventually feel a tug on the satin grass in your hand, which makes you turn to see what caused it. A purple marovae chews on it, blinking at you when you turn. She doesn't seem to care she's bothering your adventure and tugs the grass entirely out of your hand. Behind her come two energetic blurs of purple, both happily jumping around in front of you with wagging tails. One seems to smell the sweet scent of the cosmic sugar cubes and begins to eagerly nudge at your pocket as a way of asking for one.

I hope your king is able to be sorted out soon!
I'd prefer them not to be named after me specifically, but if you want to name it Leaf regardless that's fine.

Thank you so much! They're all gorgeous :) And take as much time as you need for my other

Names
Male from the meadow: Tairn
Female from the cave (mom): Aelin
Baby without mutation: Deigh
Baby with mutation: Andarna

Also just a few questions for later. I know you said in your post to tell you if we wanted to see the fawns grown up (which I would love if you get the time, if not its totally fine). But if you do are we able to breed the grownup fawns aswell?

@Aspen
Lovely names! :D
And yes, the fawns grown up act just like a normal adult marovae found in explore which does mean you can breed them!
And I will work on their grown up versions! It might take longer than the few days stated to get them done, but I'll get them to you as soon as I can :)

@Yuna
Your explores are done <3

The Fairywoods

The candy colored trees give off a sense of peace as you explore the fairywood. Surely nothing could ever go wrong here!

As night begins to fall and you begin to set up a small camp to pass the dark hours, you begin to hear a faint rustle and chittering coming from the bushes. The fairywood has nothing inherently hostile, so you don't pay it much mind. Until...a dash of red darts right in front of you and passes across the small clearing to another bush! The chittering immediately starts again, this time from the bush the red had barreled into. It's only now did you realize, this thing stole your boot!

You walk over with one less shoe and brush aside some of the foliage to see the culprit. A red and white fairywood marovae who rolls around with glee with his new toy, aka, the shoe you definitely need back.

The Void

The unknown is frequent in this area, the world here making sure you never know what could happen next. The days pass randomly, sometimes shrouding the area in darkness for what feels like a week at a time while the daylight only has a few minutes, and vice versa. With this strange daylight pattern you also notice, there is no sun.

This quickly becomes the norm as you brave the unknown, heading deeper into this strange place. Just as you're about to turn back and call it quits, you feel thundering footsteps before you hear them. The ground shakes, feeling like a small earthquake which almost leads you to believe you've become a pinball as you bounce around the squishy terrain. A pastel colored void marovae rounds the corner, it's thudding footsteps never halting as it runs directly at you. It lets out a loud. bellowing roar, it's goopy appendages digging into the ground as it halts itself. It still seems aggressive, so you offer it a fruit to help it calm down.

@Yuna
Breeding basically mashes the two marovae's palettes together, and if they have any mutations the offspring will have a better chance of being mutated with that mutation!
A marovae can have up to three fawns, but it's commonly only one or two.
Different species won't mix into a new one, so the species of the offspring is decided by a wheel and each species has a 50/50 chance of being passed down :)
