here are some navajo names:
-altsoba, meaning “all are at war”
-anasazi, meaning “ancient ones” (my personal fav of these, its pretty and references that ground sloths are ancient)
-dezba, meaning “going to war”
-doli, meaning “bluebird”
-haloke, meaning “salmon”
-manaba, meaning “war returned with her”
-nascha, meaning “owl”
-sahkyo, meaning “mink”
-shima, meaning “mother”
-yanaba, meaning “she meets her enemy”

i am native american, but im choctaw, not navajo, so i dont know a ton about them. i do know that they have one of the worlds most complex languages, hence why the us used their language to encode messages during ww2 (the navajo code talkers). in it, when you introduce yourself, you have to share the name of both of your parents as well as what tribe and place theyre from AND the name, tribe, and home place of all 4 of your grandparents.
