Breeding only in February
We see it with a lot of yearly bases. This allows for those bases to get very popular in those months, this happens with unholy and bast in October, and we also saw it with mulberry in July recently. This is not my favorite idea, as month locking bases always feels a little sad, but I do think it would provide these bases with the needed little boost.

This is to prevent what I call “stud locking”
Arabica, Asiatic, Black Rose, and ESPECIALLY Zloto fall into this sad cycle, where because there is no special factor, it can be hard to find a good stud for a breeding.

A really perfect example of combos that don’t do this are Snowflake, Mistletoe, and Hellbore, on these bases they’re split with a common factors on one side and the specials on the other, a good way to do this personally is to use Peach or Marula.

Why Peach or Marula
Peach would go well with the sweet/February breed only, helping link it to the event. But Marula also falls into this category! It would also help a not to often used base become more popular, as right now there’s less then 250 living lions with the base applied. (Stat curtesy of the Forgotten Bases of Lioden clan!)

The better option I feel is peach, as the gradient fits well and again also fits the food/February theme. But both work and would be a great addition! Neither have combos at the time of posting this. So it also expands the base pool for combos.!
