Nalunidae
Nalunidae are females of the species. They're primarily solitary with a matriarchal hierarchy noted in the scarce tightly-knit packs discovered amidst the strange land. They're active hunters and highly territorial, brighter wing colors are thought to signal a place higher in the hierarchy set upon them and have been recorded displaying more dominance than those with duller colored wings. They've been noted to be capable of self-reproduction unlike their subspecies counterpart that has been documented to rely on Nalunidae for continuing the species.

Sleipnykos
Sleipnykos are a male dominant subspecies of Nalunidae. They're more pack-oriented than their female counterpart and significantly less territorial. They are also deemed more rare, not as easily found, unlike their female counterpart. They've been recorded with more scavenger-like traits and habits, rarely hunting on their own unless assisting a mate. They're larger and significantly slower than Nalunidae, notably less dominant and more easily tamed as well. Duos and trios of males are more commonly recorded unlike females where duo and larger groups are nearly unheard of.
