A former cultist worshipping a false god by the name of Apakinti. Coincidentally, the current king (Sadivi) is the "reincarnate" of Apakinti's enemy, Auternus.
even MORE coincidentally, Adhura is the reincarnate of Apakinti. If he wins Adhura would have to kill Sadivi for the throne, then perhaps his sister. Adhura believes Apakinti truly does respect him for his work as his champion, unaware he is one of hundreds of chosen ones before him.

Sister of Adhura, Mona dabbled in the dark arts throughout her life in the cult. Formerly she refused to join him in the Desert wanderers but was pressured into it by the rest of her pride. She used her magic to help her brother commune with Apakinti with the cost of her own sanity. She became almost crazed with how much she had been in contact with the god and many assumed she had fallen sick. She is not intentionally evil; her intent was pure before she came with her brother. If she happens to win the vote, her lore will be that she'd kill her brother after he killed Sadivi, but be pushed into the position of queen afterwards :3
