If you successfully capture a hybrid you will receive the image in private messages. - Hybrids will have their own stats, rarity and gender! - more complex creatures will be more rare - Randomness is determined by dice rolling and random list assignment - When you pay for the adopt the adopts design becomes yours! for the more complicated designs like spots, they do not have to be the exact same! - After gaining a male and female you can breed them for a fee! - You do NOT need a hybrid to explore, but be warned it is a dangerous island, and you are gambling your life as well as your currency if you enter without one. (if you die you will be respawned but will loose the currency you put in to enter, and will have to pay to reenter. You will not drop any items <3) - roleplay is optional but encouraged <3 Side note: When breeding if your adopt has no uncommon+ traits but is overall uncommon+ there is a chance that it will pass onto the children! Exploration Island: OPEN A sleek furred hybrid of a otter and a cat stares at you with piercing eyes, as if it knows you intend to enter. Its grin grows wide, and its tiny paws gesture to the sign and bucket below. It doesn't seem to be able to speak. The Sign: ENTER THE ISLAND - PAY FEE: 200 -- ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK -- BEWARE OF AGGRESSIVE HYBRIDS -- CAPTURE IS NOT GURANTEED INFO SIGN 2 LOCATIONS: > Prairie > Plains > Forest > Mountain > Meadow > Lake > Pond Below there is a bucket: DROP CURRENCY INTO BUCKET AND I WILL OPEN ISLAND GATE (send 200 to ParanoidPossum to begin adventure) (you will have 10 energy and 10 hp it is not guaranteed to get a hybrid or to catch one. Visit the shop if you would like to guarantee such) INFO: As you explore you will encounter hybrids and items, or nothing at all! Exploring is 1 energy, switching area is 1 energy If you encounter a creature and it drops your HP to 0 the magic that guards the island will teleport you back to infront of the gate. You will keep any items and any creatures you caught, but you will have to pay again to re-enter! The encounters are each randomly generated! It is essentially DND creature tamer. 🌺 Hybrid Shop: OPEN subject to changes 200 - Stinky Spray - Repels creatures for 5 energy (explores) * 2 uses 250 - Sparkling coin - increases chance of any encounter by 30% * one use 250 - Delicious Desert - increases chance of CHOSEN creature encounter by 30% * one use 250 - Macaron - Increases chance of capture by 30% * one use 500 - Island Cookie - 50% chance of capture - Known on the island for its tastiness! * one use 500 - Tasty snack - Guarantees at least one creature encounter with a 5% chance of increasing the next creature encounter to be rare. The snack is so tasty it acts as a bait, causing creatures to gather! * one use with 50% of secondary use, 5% of which is rare) 500 - Breeding herb - in order to breed you require this herb. Must be 2 different gendered hybrid. Hybrids that are not of same breed will have a 50% chance of failing, so breed carefully. one use 500 - Magic Net - Increases chance of capturing the hybrid 80% one use 1 - Slimey grub - Increases chances of encountering a hybrid by 80% 5 - Radioactive juice - Guarantees capturing a mutated hybrid * one use 10 - Magic capsule - this capsule is perfect and will instantly capture any hybrid * one use 🌺 Breeding Cave A beautiful lilac covered wolf pads by holding a basket of lovely flowers and herbs, from a quick glance they look like breeding items. She speaks softly to you as she walks by "Make sure to have a breeding herb from the shop, hybrids can't breed otherwise. It's medicinal properties make it possible." Here you breed your hybrids. They must be opposite genders unless the hybrid allows otherwise. You must breed hybrids of same breed otherwise you risk 50% of them not breeding, however, if they successfully breed there is a ~15% chance of a mutation Hybrid Genetic Chamber: OPENED A lovely lioness with long flowing black mane and tail similar to that of a horse, approaches with a grin, and passes you a small clipboard " Hello there! They can cause their bodies to look different and strange, give them strange colorings or markings and sometimes cause them to gain different limbs. Some mutations are more rare than others, and some may give a benefit or even a disadvantage. Researched Mutations These are mutations that have either been found on a hybrid or they've been researched into enough that we know hybrids can have them. ... None at the moment ... SPOILER: Hybrids Pics need to be updated Cateret (cat x ferret) Locations: Forest, prairie, meadow, plains, lake (near), pond (near), mountain Dorsane (dane x horse) Locations: Prairie, meadow, plains Ponchata (Cat x Pony) meadows, plains, prairie sometimes at the pond or lake (edge) A lovely pony x cat hybrid. It is incredibly friendly and a huge hit with the kids. The horn on the Ponchata is actually rare, and unfortunately makes it a target of poaching. Anyone poaching their horn is fined 60 thousand island pounds and may face jail time in addition. Owners who have a ponchata with a horn may be able to use their magic for themselves. Ponchata is more intelligent than realized, and may not help the owner with magic or may use their magic mischievously if the owner is neglectful or abusive. Deretcha ( deer x cheetah ) meadows, plains, prairie A rare creature that is incredibly fast. They are docile, and typically hang out in small groups of 2-3. They are omnivores and will eat small mice and rabbits. (fun fact! Deer will actually eat small birds and mice ;3 ) Rasheep (rat x sheep) Locations: Prairie, meadow, plains, mountains Foishix (fox x fish) lake, pond Borroc ( bear x croc ) lake, forest, meadows, rare: pond, plains, mountains, anywhere else rare and incredibly strong, be prepared to face this hybrid carefully 🌺 SHOUT OUT TO THE CREATOR OF THESE AMAZING HYBRIDS: Northern Red "creating Animation, Species concepts, Bases, Tutorials and more" I adore their art, and without them I wouldn't be able to make you these lovely adopts especially their beautifully smooth animated ones!!! @Fox -- 1200 actually theres 50 sb off right now c: sorry one sign said it but the other didnt lol my bad yup you are good to explore either do a TC or a gift and then I will send you the dm to begin the adventure. You can either RP (roleplay / adventure mode) it and Ill roll as we go along, or I can roll for you right now (game mode) please note that there arent any creatures in stock right now so if you do encounter and capture one it may be a bit before they are ready c:
