Community UpdateAside from monthly event news posts and the 2nd Friday of each month being focused on art/coding updates, all other Fridays are centered around the community!

Iberian Lynx Status Update!We discovered some AMAZING news today! The Iberian Lynx is no longer endangered—it's amazing their populations are stable now! You can read more within this article: https://apnews.com/article/iberian-lynx-vulnerable-species-spain-portugal-recovery-b7e36b94510301bc5616511d84cdbe1c To celebrate this, we've adjusted the item description for the [GE - Andalusia] Iberian Lynx decor to reflect its updated status with an additional sentence: "As of 2024, this species is no longer endangered!"

While that species may no longer be endangered, it's still threatened and nowhere near "fully recovered". Human activity can still pose a threat to them. 2 players like this post! Like? |

I'm really glad that cutie the Iberian lynx is no longer endangered! I also heard they're trying to boost the European Rabbit population which has historically been one of the Iberian Lynx's food sources as well. Let's hope both species can thrive! ~~~ Not a huge fan of the rainbow base personally, I feel it's very similar to haliotis/deccenial/teardrop and never been a huge fan of those because I feel the bases overshadow many markings and are a bit much, they've also got like almost every color... As markings, rainbowy looking stuff can be okay, but there needs to be some balance imo or again it overshadows everything else. Also personally as someone who has played a long time, it's kinda like getting colorbomb lions without the effort put into trying to breed different colors together to get a colorbomb...it almost feels...too easy. I'm kinda hoping this base ends up being rare to attain like a month combo type deal... Ik I'm probably in the minority though. 2 players like this post! Like? |
