Official Lioden RaffleLINK - This is our official community update raffle. Everyone gets a chance to win a rare prize, plus something extra for any runner ups. These raffles have a very minimal ticket price, and there is a limit of 1 ticket per account to make it fair! Good luck! This raffle will automatically end on 2024-07-05 00:00:00. Jaglions? You may have noticed the big cargo ship encounters these past few weeks. These were an intro to a short storyline! Today, a new adventure is available in the Adventuring page! You can have more than one adventure active at a time, so this will not interrupt anyone who is working on the Journey to Vredefort Crater. This is an introduction to Jaglions, a new hybrid, and the ability for everyone to get a chance at boosted hybrid odds, so it relies a bit less on RNG in explore! The cost to begin the adventure is 2,000 SB, and only strong, experienced lions can prepare for such a big adventure. Your pride leader will need to be at least level 5 to proceed. The adventure will take a few rollovers to finish. Completing the adventure gives a special boost for your account. Start the adventure with some space for cubs and some females in heat! Note: The ability to take this adventure will be disabled on August 1st 2024 at 00:00am Lioden time. If you have started the adventure before that time, you will still be able to complete it even after that date. No players will be able to start/take the adventure after that date. This information will be available on the Adventuring page as well. Breeding JaglionsFor clarity, Jaglions can be bred right now even without the boost. The boost just increases the chance.* First generation Jaglions are bred at the same rate as other hybrids (Leopons and Tigons) * First generation Jaglions are born with 5 in each stat, while non-first generation Jaglions get 10% of the stats they would have received as normal, like with Leopons and Tigons * Mother Jaglions have a 10% chance of passing on the Jaglion mutation if they are a first generation, and a 5% chance to pass if anything above first generation (identical to Leopons and Tigons) * First generation Jaglions are born with no markings save for Phantom Rosette, which will roll in either slot 2, 4, or 7 * Jaglions do not have a unique base, as their marking has a unique passing mechanic * Phantom Rosette has a low passing chance if the mother is not a Jaglion - if the mother isn't a Jaglion, it's a 2% chance the marking will remain. This increases to 4% if the father is a Jaglion (even though the mother isn't), and to 10% if the cub itself is a Jaglion and inherited the mother's base, or if the father is a Jaglion and the cub inherited the mother's base. * First generation Jaglions are born with a forced skin of "Matte", forced eye colour of "Intense Heat", and forced mane shape of "Scarce" * The base fertility for all Jaglions defaults to 5% * If the father was a Jaglion, the cub will end up with 0% fertility, and 10% reduced stats (as in Leopons and Tigons) Boost Information* Upon completing the adventure, you will receive 20 boosts that will roll once per successful breeding. Each successful breeding will take away 1 boost from that count. * You are able to view how many boosts you have remaining through a banner at the top of your den page. * All boosts are equal. The first and last boost are the same, and having more or less boosts doesn't make the boost any more or less effective. * The boost rolls on the first cub in the litter only. * The boost is not affected by breeding items. * The boost is equivalent in chances to the Tigon Hype breeding boost. * The boost only applies to lions bred within your own pride, not to outside lionesses, studs, or the reverse breeding feature. * The boost is a flat % boost that has better chances than a 1% fertility lioness to produce a Jaglion cub. With the boost active, fertility is irrelevant (except for Infertile... hopefully that's obvious!). * Jaglions can be bred without taking the adventure—the adventure only gives you boosted odds to breed them once it is completed. * Once you take the adventure, retiring your king does not affect anything, and you can safely retire after the adventure has been started. * Boosts are tied to your account, not your king, so you can retire with your boosts intact. Important Note: The boost does not guarantee a Jaglion cub will be born - it just increases the chances of one being produced. If any further clarification or questions are brought up, we will answer as we can through editing this news post! Unfinished Bases/MarkingsDue to some really unfortunate incidents during the past few weeks (even as recently as this current week) we have been unable to fully complete a select few bases/markings. We are electing to release Jaglions before they are complete with the promise that any unfinished files will be uploaded before Monday. If you are one of the (un)lucky few who manage to breed a Jaglion cub with a missing base/marking, please be assured that it will be fixed by Monday. As bases/markings are finished, they will be added to the site - so perhaps even sooner, depending which base/marking it is. This includes Phantom Rosette, which should appear on default lions in wardrobe even tonight. Because of this, we are not enabling Jaglions in the Wardrobe nor will we release Custom Decor files until all bases/markings are completed. Right after this, we'll focus on updating missing Maracaja files as a priority. New June QuestsNew quests that were added to June's event unfortunately were not active in the quest pool until today. You now have the chance to receive these quests when taking them from your chosen deity. Raffle LionessCongrats to the winner of last week's raffle lioness! A new Platinum lady with Steele Rogue, White Indri, and the FIRST EVER Ruacana Falls background is up for impressing in the Special Lioness area linked here! Poll Results - Thank you all for voting on last week's poll! It seems the preference is to have this suggested rainbow base be obtained from a year-round rare encounter drop. We've noted this down! NEW POLL - What would you like to see for future Black Friday Muties on Demand? Let us know in this week's poll! Next Development Update: July 12th! I thought the rolling order went hybrid > patches So really if you roll a hybrid then the secondary is a patches the hybrid should come on top because it’s whatever rolls first? But if you roll a patches but then the secondary is smth like a primal then thr patches will ultimately win Which is why when people breed dwarfs with a scrot they typically don’t go for patches because the patches is before the rolling order if a scrot to pass down the moms mutation? 1 player likes this post! @sugarheart the boost overrides any mutation boosts that CRBs, lion meats and Gmo cows give you so it’s always that fixed 0.6% chance per breeding 0 players like this post! Like? |

Regardless the boost if successful will always override whatever other mutation the cub could have rolled. So it doesn’t matter whether you have a pie king or not 0 players like this post! Like? |

Sunshine - The hybrid or Overgrown Fur would roll first, if and only IF it mother is a Hybrid/Overgrown fur, if not and it's randomly popping up from Fertility, GMO Cow, Lion Meat or Cotton Root Bark then the Piebald/Patches will roll first before the items. Leopon OR Overgrown Fur OR Tigon† ➜ Patches/Piebald† ➜ GMO Cow/Lion Meat ➜ Cotton Root Bark ➜ Fertility/Natural Chance ➜ Lion Scrotum ➜ Primal ➜ Dorsal Fur† ➜ Tigon Boost* ➜ Mukombero ➜ Dorsal Fur Guarantee* Here are a couple scenarios and for these we will use GMO Cow as the mutation item: 1. Mother is a Tigon and is bred to a Piebald Frail king. The hybrid will roll and if it hits, then it's a hybrid, if it doesn't hit then the others in the roll order is done. So then it would be Piebald Frail, then the GMO Cow. lets say she had 4 cubs, cub one is a hybrid, cub two got piebald frail, cub three no mutation and cub four Melanism. Cub 2, 3 and 4 rolled for hybrid and fail cub 2 rolled for Piebald and hit cub 3 rolled for Hybrid and missed, rolled for piebald and fail, rolled for GMO Cow and failed, and rolled for Natural Chance and failed. cub 4 rolled for Hybrid and missed, rolled for piebald and fail, rolled for GMO Cow and hit 2. Mother is a normal NCL and is breed to a piebald frail king. All cubs will not be rolled for Hybrid mutation. So they move to having the piebald rolling. Lets say she had 2 cubs. Cub one rolled for Piebald and hit. Cub 2 rolled for piebald and fail and rolled for GMO Cow and hit. But you could breed with a GMO Cow, Lion Meat or Cotton Root Bark and still get nothing. Edit to add in the following: First Generation Hybrids are a random mutation meaning from Fertility, GMO Cow, Lion Meat or Cotton Root bark or in the case of Jaglions and Tigons a very small boost. It is still possible to get a Jaglion/Tigon/Leopon from a Piebald/Patches king but people stay away from them when using those items because of the fact that Piebald/Patches rolls before the others. From my understanding is that the boost is not affected but I am 100% unsure about that. 5 players like this post! Like? Edited on 02/07/24 @ 21:56:47 by Shadow (Main) (#73284) |

Hey! I don’t know if the question was already asked or not but I was wondering if lowering my VLF NCL fertility down to 1% by using hyena meat would help me have a greater chance at producing an hybrid of any sort (especially the new one obviously haha). Temporarily, I will use CRB and my mutation less king (still not over the fact I had to remove his Svelte to boost my chances at getting an hybrid) on my first batch of breeding because I highly doubt I’ll get my boost by the time they fall back into heat. Anyways, good luck to everyone trying to get a jaglion! May the odds be in your favor and congrats to those who’s luck has already hit y’all baby jaglion are the cutest ever :D 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Basically the long and short of it is that no one knows. The ins and outs of the boost wasn’t explained like the tigon was. With the tigon boost if the cub rolled a mutation, but then rolled a tigon, the tigon would override it. The only thing we know for definite (I think) is that the chance of a jaglion from the boost is the exact same as the tigon boost was 1/150 or 0.6% 2 players like this post! Like? |

If we were to assume it’s the same as the tigon then you don’t need to worry. But for safety I’d be removing my queens Croupe 0 players like this post! Like? |

I wish they actually explained better how the boost work. As a new person in hybrid breeding I don’t know very well how to guarantee myself a fairly good chance at getting one (Leopons, tigon and jaglion). For now I want to know if doing the following will help : - Getting only VLF NCL - CRB - Lowering fertility down to 1% with hyena meat - Using a non mutated king (had to removed with a Safou fruit my Svelte) 2 players like this post! Fertility and items don’t affect the boost. The boost will always be a flat rate if 1/150 or 0.6% chance If you used CRB or a GMO cow, the chance of a hybrid from that, will be overridden with the jaglion boost chance As for the mutation, again no one knows. So I’m playing it safe and just taking it off my queen 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Ah okay! Welp I’ll just crb for my own fun first then when my boost drop don’t use any. I didn’t know they could override it as I thought that they mentionned that breeding items wouldn’t do anything. But I also heard some ppl got all their G1 hybrid using CRB is that true? 0 players like this post! Like? |
