**__Description:__**
This event is considered one of the most profitable months in Lioden! In this event you get the event currency; Heart Shells (HS), through interactions! It's the month of love, Valentine's right around the corner, couples being together, romance blossoming between friends and strangers... All that jazz! So here's what you'll need to know to get the most out of this event;

**__Interactions:__**
View the Lioden Event [wiki](https://www.lioden.wiki/february) to view highest yield in HS per interaction, I'll add onto this later!

**__Battling:__**
Most suggest to not initiate battles in this event. Unlike events like October or May, you don't need to fight to earn HS! You lose 10% energy per battle, at roughly a gain of 1-3 HS per fight. It's not worth it. However if you are farming for EXP, then do go for these so you'll get HS and EXP!

**__Flirting__**
Flirting is an event action you can do EVERY 15 MINUTES. [Located here](https://www.lioden.com/aphrodisia.php). Doing this can give you 1-3 HS for winning a flirt interaction, or for slapping a brute away. But you can be slapped too! If you want to help with the shop counter (Viewed in Image Below) you can let lions flirt with your lioness successfully to complete this counter faster.
- **Slapping a King flirting with your lioness yields:** 1-3 HS and 1 Slap Point (Goes to Slap Shop Counter)
- **Successfully flirting with a lioness yields:** 1 HS and 1 Flirt Point (Goes to Flirt Shop Counter)
- **Being slapped but still succeeding in flirting with a lioness yields:** 1-3 HS and 1 Flirt Point (Goes to Flirt Shop Counter)

**__Energy:__**
Energy is super important in this event, make sure you use every amount of it you can! There are items you can use to boost your energy usage and regeneration. Typically it takes 2 and a half hours to regenerate a full bar of energy (Refills at 10% per 15 Minutes).
- **Roasted Lambs:** Can Buy in [Trading Center](https://www.lioden.com/trading_center.php?s=items&item=2208&sb=&gb=#results) or [Branches](https://www.lioden.com/search_branches.php?search=items&a=s&item=2208&maxsb=&maxgb=#results). "Eat it! For the next 8 hours, your pride leader's energy will refill by double each time (20% every 15 minutes, instead of the typical 10%). Doubled energy regeneration only works if your leader is at 59% hunger or lower." (Make sure your King is Fed!)
- **Red Bulls:** Can Buy in [Trading Center](https://www.lioden.com/trading_center.php?s=items&item=1110&sb=&gb=#results) or [Branches](https://www.lioden.com/search_branches.php?search=items&a=s&item=1110&maxsb=&maxgb=#results). "Eat it! For the next 8 hours, your pride leader's energy will refill by double each time (20% every 15 minutes, instead of the typical 10%). - **Bone Marrow:** Can Buy in [Monkey Business](https://www.lioden.com/monkeybusiness.php) for 80 SB. "This tasty treat will boost your lion's energy by 20%!"
- **Energy Boost:** Can Buy in [Oasis](https://www.lioden.com/oasis.php) for 2 GB. "This is a nice, tasty treat that will boost your energy right up to full!" (1 Use; 100 Energy (Use When Energy is at 0%!))

- **Meat Pie:** Is an Anniversary Gift! Can Buy in [Trading Center](https://www.lioden.com/trading_center.php?s=items&item=371&sb=&gb=#results) or [Branches](https://www.lioden.com/search_branches.php?search=items&a=s&item=371&maxsb=&maxgb=#results) (2 GB per Use! Don't get scammed!). "Cooked by baboons, seasoned by scorching sun - this special pie will refresh your energy to 100%, and has five uses." (Five uses; 500 Energy(Use When Energy is at 0%!))

- **Gorilla Quest:** Go [here](https://www.lioden.com/gorilla-enclave.php), and do the most difficult quest. Make sure you change the drop down of "Bonus Award" to Energy! Gorilla Enclave will tell you what you need to do.
- Easy: 20% Energy Boost.
- Medium: 40% Energy Boost.
- Difficult: 60% Energy Boost.
- Difficult+: 100% Energy Boost.
- **Masks:** Can Buy at [Personality Snake](https://www.lioden.com/personalitysnake.php) for 400 SB.
- **Sangoma Mask:** "A special Lion Mask made by Sangoma shamans will let you pick a common personality for one of your lions. (Kind/Neutral/Snarky)."
- **Hyperactive:** "Snarky: Daily button to gain +30% Energy once per rollover if your energy is below 70%."
- **Candid:** "Kind: Regains +3% Energy with each successful lioness claim." (Most will suggest this personality more, I will explain why further down!)

**__Saving Energy:__**
Saving your energy is just as important as gaining energy!

"Steps in explore only take 1-2% energy instead of 1-3% energy. It lasts 15 minutes, and can be used with other energy items."
- **Hyena Butter:** Can Buy in [Monkey Business](https://www.lioden.com/monkeybusiness.php) for 100 SB. "A very nasty smelling fluid from hyena's behind parts will make you more likely to repel claimable lionesses in explore for 30 minutes."
