So. I had an idea a while ago. Just now getting around to posting here! I had the idea that, like GMO chickens, hunting parties should be able to bring GMO cows back! I mean, they would surely live in the villages & be grazing at the rivers and such. The huntresses can bring normal cows back! Why not GMO?? But, as GMO cows are obviously a good breeding item: there's specific requirements for a party to be able to hunt one and bring it back. + First, there must be five lionesses in the party. This means a full party. I imagine those buff GMO cows would be too much and too dangerous of a challenge for a party of four or less lionesses to even try to bring down. + Second, they must all be level ten or higher; maybe this could even be bumped up to level twelve or thirteen. It would take very experienced females to work together to kill one of these things then drag it back. I mean, they look pretty big . . . + This would be a pretty rare chance, obviously. Like, 0.0001 odds (given the point made below that a LOT of users roll over & hunt each day), given all requirements are satisfied, to click that results button and be shocked with a GMO cow. I don't want a market crash because of my idea It would be a fun challenge to have this rare chance, I think. + Two adolescents must be with the party + If you do get a GMO cow from a hunting party, a cooldown. Probably a long time; we're talking irl months here, because as noted below, a LOT of users send out a LOT of hunts per day. I'm thinking probably five or six months, or even twelve, because, again, as said below (which I really didn't think about, RIP): that's over 30k hunts run a day by all users collectively. So, to avoid flooding market, and dropping prices of GMO cows, a cooldown would need to be in effect, and a long one too. + The hunting party must have been together for a certain amount of real-life time, thus being bonded, coordinated & cooperative enough to be able to work together to bring one of those fat cows down + All lionesses must be hunting only on tiles where the cows could be caught (river, village, waterhole, grassy) + The GMO cows can only be brought back during the wet seasons of the irl months July, August, & September Other possible ideas for requirements: + will add to this as I think of them/people suggest them So. Uh. Yeah! That's my suggestion! I would appreciate it if people voting no commented on why below! I would also appreciate people's ideas on what to add/change to make this idea a better one. *zips out of forum* I AM editing this as people comment and as I think of things to add into the pitch. I am trying to improve this and work off of comments, criticism, and feedback. |

No support. GMO Cows are valuable and special to people because they are only available one month out of the year, once the event shop closes you need to wait until next year or buy from the player run market. Lion Meats the next closest thing to GMO Cows are available all year through the slots and it's a possible reward from the lioness claiming quest, I myself have gotten 3 from that quest and as a result the value of them is down as there is surplus. Even if the chance is low, think of how many players log in each day, a hunting party has ten free hunts per day. Say 3,000 people log in one day and each sends out a hunting party for all 10 hunts. That's 30,000 hunts. Per day. That's not including sending out a second party or adding more hunts to the first party. That's potentially a lot of GMO Cows suddenly flooding the market. 1 player likes this post! Like? |
