My last big update to this thread. 242 boosts and 35 batches later.... ... and I gotta throw in the towel. Unfortunately, no jag was produced from my boosts. Hh. There is good news to all this though. First, that story I promised: I have horrible Lioden luck. And by that I mean, I once made it to the top of the leaderboard for my singlehanded bad luck, and I have never known someone to ever surpass me. How? If you look on the leaderboard, there's a 'Leading Queens' section that, all the way on the bottom, shows the most unluckiest lionesses that took the most about of times to breed. Given this is a 1% shot, it's surprising how many 500 attempt runs make their way onto that leaderboard. But! They only count living lionesses. Because. Only on the leaderboard for a short few weeks (i believe?) before she died. Was the lioness I bred. [Perhaps an important factor- she wasn't even *my* lioness. I was just *really* stubborn with this stud request, it became a personal mission. This is also back when stud racing was a thing, so it was actually two of us working on this lioness for the grand prize of... our own stud fees.] And that lioness. Took. 611 tries to breed. 611!!! For a 1/100 chance!!!!!! Not to mention as a casual aside that I can't recall winning a single Lioden in-game raffle since 2017 under any form it takes aha, SO, I am kind of astounded at my luck and was worried from the start. Though, I did kind of think my luck *had* to turn around at some point, right? Well, for the jag boosts... no. No, it never did. BUT. I think the luck and path required to complete this journey is kind of insane in itself- it really did take finding the one user out there who wanted exactly what I had. Because, introducing... Prince Lutinea!!! My First Gen, G2 overall Jaglion. (Sorry it took so long to reveal him- I actually got him nearly a week ago but I was waiting for all of my batches to wrap up to bring everything to a final conclusion)!  My boy!!! I bought him with his mother as just a lil baby. But the journey getting there? WILD. I already told you guys about part 1 of this, but just to recap- the orginal trade that made this possible was an absolutely ridiculously lucky trade- because I think I found the one user who wanted a dirty first gen tigon significantly more than their first gen (g2 overall) even younger jaglion, to the point they offered me so much my first gen tigon, Neferusobek, I had them lessen their offer slightly so it would be fair LMAO. In the end, I got the fantastic deal of a First Gen (G2) jaglion and 10 buffy balls for the tigon I was hoping to sell anyways. But I still wanted a baby one. And with my jag boosts running out, *after* the baby jag boom, I was really running out of options- almost everyone had used their jag boosts already, and if they did get a new jag, it was rare those jags would end up on TC, let alone as a newborn with their mother (which is what I wanted). It just happened so happened that I stumbled upon Prince Lutinea and instantly got attached to him compared to any other jag I'd found the last couple weeks- and even *luckier* that, somehow, with almost no haggling necessary, my offer perfectly matched what they were willing to accept: an adult g1 jag with some buffy balls attached. Pretty much exactly what I got for my first gen tigon completely unexpectedly. WILD. So, even if the jag boosts were a bust... it still required a hell of a lot of luck to make this happen in the end. And I'm happy, honestly- I got the jag I want, I managed to haggle almost all of my jag boosts down significantly, I kept my original boosts to resell, (and my friend's boosts- we're going to sell them together in February), and best of all, the community absolutely rekindled my love for this game. I was on a very long hiatus I just couldn't get out of before this- the fact that you guys tuned in this whole time, supported me, and I even got gifted 20 free jag boosts, is absolutely wild to me. I even managed to trade both my dirty first gens- which I've been trying to do anyways- to make this all happen, and *both* traded for above their value. So really, I'm very happy. I definitely want to give something back to the community for those that helped me along the way. I don't have a ton to offer- everything went to these boosts and jag- but I'm gonna DM a couple people who I think definitely deserve a free jag heat in February if nothing else, haha. Again, thank you all so much for following me in this adventure. I still might contact that one user to see if I can buy 8 boosts to round that out to 250, but we'll see. As said above, I'm honestly pretty happy with leaving things here. But until then, I'm headin' off to university. See ya, pixel lions. Oh wow, that is some rotten luck. I had to give up at 42 boosts ( my main and side with two extra purchased ) because my broke ass couldn't afford any more, and I don't have much in the way of valuable things that people want to trade/barter with. Congrats on buying one in the end though. That's what I plan to do if I can ever get up the money. My luck on here is terrible too, though I DID win the raffle lioness once a few years back ( which is how I got my first tigon, which wasn't even a G1 ). 0 players like this post!
