Giving tree says I have already bribed cubs today when I have not.

Please provide us with step by step explanation how this bug happened so we can attempt to replicate it. If it's complex, please include screenshots where possible:
Went to get my two daily cubs from the giving tree when it said that I had already bribed cubs from the tree today. I checked my den and there were none, and then checked the user log where there is no record of me bribing any cubs.
