So, ochre saltlicks can pass the mane type AND shape of a chosen parent. But what if you only want the mane colour of ONE parent and the type of the other? Thus, I proposeβ¦ Ochre salt fragments (or shards) Ochre salt fragments/shards will only pass the mane type OR mane colour of the parent. The choice can be made by the user and these fragments can be applied to both parents. These would be sold in the September event shop like ochre saltlicks, but cost 60-70 Jewel Beetles. The reason that the price would be higher than half of a saltlick? Itβs because it would make breeding projects somewhat easier to accomplish. Suggestions Lavy (323535) Ochre salt fragments can only be used once per breeding pair Hua (230272) Only a certain percentage of passing per fragment Any feedback/ideas are appreciated! If you donβt support this, I prefer an explanation over a simple βnoβ |

Support and no support, by using it on both parents you could get the effect of a gnaw at a lower price, so many once per breeding pair? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I feel like its better to have it like leopard tails at that point. Certain % of passing. Sure you're saving the time if breeding projects are easier but that kills the value of the gnaw item and time wasted for other individuals who spend an insane amount on breeding projects. No offense, people didn't spend 200+ gb just for a project just to have it easily copied. There are reasons why people put "extra gb if gnaw is used" or whatever, same w/ DU's sometimes. Yeah, it's just a mane + color but there are BO + combo, it's already a 50% to get combo mane color during combo breeding. 0 players like this post! Like? |

@Lavy Hmm, that is true. Maybe it could only be used for one parent? @Hua That is a good idea! Maybe a 50% chance of passing if both parents have it applied? 0 players like this post! Like? |

wouldn't that override possible combo mane colors then? Leopard only has 10% if used on both parents. Either way, I ain't too sure if it's worth it since 3/4 BO manes come from Savage males, which you aren't able to use any items as they aren't owned by a specific player. Royal mane classifies as a combo so you can just breed for one with it's own factors anyway if either lions don't have the royal mane 0 players like this post! Like? |

I guess so, but then the main reason youβd possibly use these is if you want to combine the mane shape of one parent with the colour of the other. However, if the fragments are only applied to one parent and the user chooses to select the mane type to pass, then combo mane colours wonβt be disrupted as they will still have a chance to roll. 0 players like this post!
