Hello fellow lioden users. I have made this forum to inform you of something that has recently come to my attention- wilbie. wilbie is an unknown user on this platform, and something about them seems.... ominous. Not quite right. You likely haven't heard of the mirage that is wilbie, since they don't exist... At least, that's what they WANT you to think. I have reason to believe that wilbie is-- or rather WAS more than they seem. Below this passage is an image of their branch, the only evidence showing they exist. As you can see, the item (Adult Sex Changer) is being sold at an unreasonably high price for no reason. The price seems to follow no metrics, being the numbers "1 4 7 4 8 3 6 4 7". Well, when the numbers are switched out for letters, it reads "adgdhcfdg". Now, this may seem like nothing but a keyboard smash, but when we convert this to an anagram it reads; "chad gdfdg." This must be in reference to the popular "Chad" meme. It MUST be. Therefore, wilbie must be well versed in internet culture. Now, the remaining letters, "gdfdg", seem to form a pattern. This is because it DOES. It's clearly in reference to a transmission spectrum. Do I know what that is? No. No, I do not. wilbie knowing this makes them smarter than me. I don't like wilbie being smarter than me. So, clearly this mysterious 'wilbie' figure must've liked meme culture and been rather intelligent before their disappearance from the site. But that begs the question- where'd they go? What happened to their account? Well, I have a theory. Now, I have no clue when this wilbie person became absent from the platform, scrubbed clean like blood from a crime scene. Maybe that similie was too accurate, since this MUST be a crime scene! You see, a user by the name of "Wilby" joined the site 28/9/23. You may be thinking "oh! what does this mean, muffin? what the hell are you on about?" Well, let me explain it, damn you! I believe that this Wilby person KILLED wilbie in an attempt to take their name! THAT'S RIGHT! WILBIE WAS VANQUISHED FROM THE SITE BY WILBY! But it didn't work. No, it didn't work at all. The name was still stored on the sight, in secret... Making the whole endeavour USELESS! Wilby would've sighed and said "Oh woe is I. I guess I can never bear the name wilbie. Boo hoo hoo.", dejected and sad. But Wilby too has disappeared from the site.... This clearly means wilbie came back as a ghost and killed them. So lioden users, as to not incur wilbies wrath, we must not call any of our lions Wilbie. Lest they be cursed and maimed by the spirit of wilbie..... Just beware, for one day your lion's Kin will fall to wilbies ghostly hands............. The end! 7 players like this post! Like? Edited on 06/08/24 @ 09:43:24 by muffinsaur (#221710) |

Silly conspiracy but I'll get involved. First of all, looking up Wilbie in the user search does bring up Wilby! I have no idea why this happens, especially since I was unable to replicate the effect using other usernames. This was the only case in which one username brought up a (seemingly) completely unrelated user. Additionally, by accessing Wilbie's branch through that sex changer listing, we can go into the url of the page and recover Wilbie's ID - 266343. In the case of accessing a deleted user's data, an ID is like a golden ticket - It won't give access to every page (for one, their den page remains inaccessible), but it does grant as access to, among other things, their king From this, we can see that Wilbie had one of the default rolled kings with no heritage (by accessing their king dynasty we can also see that this is their first/only king) - notably, these kings all start of at 2 years and 2 months of age - but Wilbie's king is 6 yrs 8 months old, meaning they rolled over 54 at least times. (possibly up to 78 times, if they used a primordial spring de-aging boost) It's also rather... Noticeable that the king is missing a name - something that unfortunately happens to every deleted user's king. (Worry not, though! This information can still be potentially recovered from other sources) Additionally, via the member ID we can also access Wilbie's caves, either by using their ID in the lion search, or by editing the url of an unsorted page with their ID. From here, we can see that Wilbie had 5 submales, for whatever reason. None of the lions are in any way valuable and have seemingly been kept for sentimental reasons instead - They're long gen, inbred, potato-ish looking, and unrelated to Wilbie's pride - additionally, their blank "former prides" tab indicates that they are tree cubs. What is more curious to me, are Wilbie's lionesses - Northernmost and Winnie Winnie follows the trend of most of Wilbie's lions - a tree cub of no particular worth. What is interesting about her is that she was bred to Wilbie's nameless king. By itself? It means nothing. But, in combination with information we can derive from one of Northernmost's cubs... I think that the name of Wilbie's king was once Bow'Mane. From Winnie, we know that Wilbie would breed their lionesses with their own default king - from the king's page, we know that he was heritageless. Additionally, one of the cubs has the Chert Back marking in slot 1 - the same marking that Wilbie's king does, and one that the mother, Northernmost, does not. With this revelation, I am lead to believe that Wilbie was a warrior cats fan. The name structure of Bow'Mane matches the one used in the warrior cats book franchise and also it would give Wilby another reason for having killed this user. After all, we all know that the only appropriate punishment for being a wc fan is death /s FURTHERMORE this would also make Wilbie's ghostly revenge on Wilby an epic reference to the Broken Code arc of the warrior cats books, which would line up with the previously confirmed genius of Wilbie. Only the smartest of the smart would think to make such an epic callback. 2 players like this post! Like? |

Amazing intel! I wasn't aware you could do that! I think it's rather unlikely wilbie used the primordial spring, as if they purchased the decors on their king they would've been playing later in the year. 56 days roughly lines up with the months Bow'Mane's decors are from (October and November) so I'll assume wilbie started playing early October (or even in September) Two of wilbie's lionesses, Hibiscus and Skalia, both bear decors from October, which just re-enforces my belief that wilbie joined the platform early October. Please note multiple other lionesses also wear decor from November. (Such as Sunny and Tien.) This may seem only tangently related to the topic, so let me explain why this is important- If wilbie played during October, the spookiest month of them all, they must be plenty scary. And what happens to plenty scary lions when they die? They turn into ghosts! This helps us understand that wilbie is still lurking within the bowels of lioden... Somewhere...... Perhaps in the.. shudder... dark forest. As seen in this news post , Flame accents were added in 2020. This means that Bow'Mane can't have been playing before 2020, which narrows down the possible years they joined. Why am I trying to figure out when they joined? ...I'll get back to you on that one. Bow'mane's name strikes me as odd, because the rest of wilbie's pride doesn't follow the naming convention used in warrior cats. Bow'mane also does not have the suffix "Star", which would be the only indicator that he is the leader (This might've been altered by wilbie due to the fact lioden features.. well, lions. wilbie, you rule breaking spectre) wilbie also seems to be very picky about marking opacity, as seen in the biographys of his lions. I don't think he's going to be very happy about being transparent. This may be why wilbie will strike down whoever names their lions wilbie. This is all i've been able to figure out for now... Stay safe, lioden players...... 2 players like this post! Like? |

Ah it seems you were more thorough than I in the search for answers on the mystery of Wilbie (To be 100% honest I just did not feel like combing through 50+ lions for a gag post) While looking through some additional pages using Wilbie's ID though, I noticed something interesting - mainly, that one can access their achievement page, and wowe, what a treasure trove of Wilbie info that thing is! first of all, it seems that you were correct in your speculations and Wilbie was indeed active for most of October and November, as well as (at the very least) the first and twenty-fifth of December (having gained the "peace was never an option" achievement on the former, and the latter being listed as their last active date) But more curiously, it seems that the achievements page logs the time a user makes their account down to the millisecond, fully confirming that Wilbie joined on the third of March, 2022, at precisely 00:45:32 LDT! Another curious thing I discovered was that Wilbie actually made a singular post on the forums before their untimely demise: Seems innocent enough, doesn't it? Just a newbie asking for help... But look closer and you might notice something strange - in the post, Wilbie inquiries about the location of the hoard! Seems strange, considering how it is easily accessible from the top of literally any page on Lioden. Perhaps then... This is a post not referring to Lioden, but instead to the spirit's doomed situation instead? Recall that in the very beginning of the book Sunset it is mentioned that there is no prey to be caught in the dark forest/the place of no stars... Could this post then be the perturbed musings of a wayward spectre, unable to recognize it's predicament? What a horrifying and cruel fate that Wilbie was condemned to, all for the amusement of Wilby... Preposterous! 2 players like this post! Like? |
