Today in chat there was a conversation of "If you could add any hybrid/lethal to lioden, what would you add?"

It took a bit of time for me to think of an deformity and one came to mind!

Legless/being born with missing limbs or a shortened limb.

I mean we already have a lethal mutation of extra limbs? how about no limbs or a cub being born with one or two missing/shortened limbs.

No legs (LETHAL) - Due to not being able to move itself around, this lethal mutated cub would not be able to survive for long, and i feel like it would be cast aside by the mother lion after a certain amount of time due to the mother not knowing what to do for the cub
(While talking about this lethal idea, we ended up calling the legless cub a "baguette" due to how a lot the cub would but a loaf that grew a head and tail)

One missing limbed cub/lion (MUTATION) - I would think that due to this cub having 3 working limbs, the cub could survive but be unable to hunt (but can nurse/look after cubs). I also had an idea that this mutation could have been something a lioness could gain from hunting!! as during real lion hunts, lions have a possibility to lose a limb from fighting off other hungry animals.

Two missing limbed cub (LETHAL) - just like the extra limbs mutation, a cub with 2 missing limbs, may it be hindlegs or not, would not survive for long as dragging its body around which takes a long time to do would leave it vulnerable to hungry predators

While i cannot draw very well, I feel like these mutation/lethal ideas would be very cool!!

I was also able to remember what the shorten or missing limb condition was called!! " Phocomelia Syndrome"

Phocomelia syndrome is a rare birth defect characterized, in most instances, by severe malformation of the extremities. Infants born with this condition will have arms and/or legs that are severely shortened or sometimes completely absent.

i would send a example/visual idea of a kitten missing its hind legs but for some reason the image wont work :(
