When someone handed Enzo over to be executed, Axel, intrigued by the rare jaglion form and seeing a reflection of his own hybrid nature, chose to spare him. Axel saw potential in the young cub. He welcomed Enzo into his domain, assigning him the task of gathering and selling goodie bags of relics for kill points. a form of currency in Axel's kingdom. Despite his intimidating exterior, Axel occasionally trained Enzo, recognizing him as a younger brother in spirit, though he never let this affection show.
