Ian seemed to skink back a bit at seeing his eyes. He felt growing anxiety in his chest as he found there wasn’t a way out of this. “Alright..” he said softly having a feeling struggling more wasn’t going to get him anywhere. And besides he didn’t think he could out pace this person anyways if he tried to run.

"thank you I'm going to go out and get us some food stay here and behave yourself" he said before he walked toward the city again to go shopping for food and some drinks that would last them for at least a few days while they were waiting for more information about where to drop the bounty off for his money

Ian gave a slow nod at what he said and soon watched as he left. He had the urge to run and try to escape but he wasn’t sure how much use it would be. After all a bounty hunter could easily chase him down again. Instead he sat there finding that his restraints were getting increasingly more uncomfortable the more he sat in them.

After an hour Ash walked back into the campsite and saw how red and irritated Ian's wrists were getting "if you promise to not run away or try to escape I will take the bindings off so you can be more comfortable" he said softly as he set the food down and put it in a case that he used to hold his supplies and food

Ian glanced up when the other made his return. He looked up seeming
To be pretty shocked when he heard them say that. He didn’t think the other would offer that at all. He was just a bounty to him. “Oh..I-I promise.”

"ok put your hands up here so I can untie it and just were all clear if you do try to run away I'm hogtying you so you can only roll around in the dirt do you understand me" he said as he took out his knife and cut the rope and threw it back into his case. Feel free to grab yourself a snack I'm about to start cooking our dinner here in a second if you don't mind waiting

Ian nodded in understanding holding his hands out so the other can cut them. He sighed in relief as he ropes fell. He rubbed his now sore wrist. “Thanks but I’m alright. I’m not hungry.” Which was a bit of a lie. But could he trust the food he was given?

"ok but if you starve or go hungry it's not my fault" he said chuckling softly as he pulled out some vegetables and chicken hoping to make a stir fry bowl or something else that would be good for both of them "if you're not going to eat do you mind starting the fire at least I have a lighter over by the sticks if you need it but you should everything you need to make it without it"

Ian frowned though he didn’t count on the other about if he ate or not. It wild take him a bit to trust being around the other. He found it yet again surprised. “Oh… Okay.” He rubbed his wrist against before getting the lighter. He soon took the lighter and lit a fire for the other to use.

"thank you Ian I really appreciate it. Now tell me why don't you want to eat anything you haven't eaten anything all day I've been watching you you've only had your iced latte this morning and that's definitely not enough to last the whole day" he said smirking as he started to carry the ingredients over to the campfire and pot that he filled with water

Ian paused quickly glancing over at his shoulder when he heard that. It made sense that the other had been watching him . Though he hadn’t expected a recount of his day. “I well…” he found himself fumbling for an excuse to tell this guy but he found himself coming up empty handed. He found himself standing there for a bit too long thinking of what to say.

"it's ok cutie don't have a cow I'm just teasing you, you don't have to eat if you don't want to" he said smiling softly as he looked him in the eyes before grabbing some of his knifes so that he could cut up the vegetables. Ash shifted his eyes back to thermal to see how hot the water was to see if it was ready to start cooking or not

Ian blushed a bit at being called Cutie. For someone who was a bounty hunter he sure was casual with his bounty. “R-Right thank you.” He told the other though he could feel the familiar ache of hunger in his stomach. He watched as the other cooked. He stood awkwardly from the side as he debated on whether or not to eat.

"you're welcome Ian if you need to rest go lay down I have a hammock over there if you need it I'll come get you when the food is ready don't worry" he said smiling softly looking him in the eyes as he continued cooking the food and getting it finished to be plated

Ian gave a slow nod glancing over at the hammock. He looked between him and the hammock before walking over and laying down in it. He curled up finding comfort in himself at his situation. It was odd being in the process of being sold but his bounty hunter actually seemed to be sweet.
