“Did you hear about the new stud?” one of them cackled, tearing at the meat.
“Oh, definitely,” another vulture responded, ripping off a piece. “They say he’s been trying to challenge Axel for the top spot. Apparently, he’s even been making moves to steal Axel’s territory.”
“No way!” the third vulture added, eyes wide with excitement. “Messing with Axel? That’s a terrible idea. Apparently Axel’s not just a top lion I heard he’s got the whole pride fiercely loyal to him. If he finds out, it’s going to be a bloodbath.”
Curiosity sparked, you moved into a stealthy crouch and edged closer to the feast. Your hunger faded as you quietly snatched bits of meat of your own, listening intently to the vultures' dramatic gossip and piecing together the details while enjoying the meal.



The vulture tears a strip of meat from the lifeless giraffe, glancing over with a sly grin as he notices the lion trying to eavesdrop.
