During February 2024, I managed to breed lioden's first double rosette outlaw and kinged him a couple months later. But I still had an itch... I still needed more maneater. Flashy rosettes are cool and all, but I wanted a king unique to me with all of my favorite traits.
After tossing around the idea of replacing that unreasonably expensive pixel cat, I landed on this design and I was swooned over by the prospects of a high-maneater trait, unique BO outlaw.

My friend was super nice & kinged some of my initial slots, so I don't have to retire Alby quite yet. But I don't officially have my own project step kinged quite yet!

PHASE 1: combine eye, skin, mane, and base traits onto a cub. freeze cub for a bit until step 2 is complete.
--- during step 1, I am also working on attaining all slots and requesting slots that do not exist to prepare for step 2. PHASE 2: retire current king (rip alby), combine all markings onto new king with several retirements.
--- prioritize slots that do not have studs & royal madagascar mane, eyes/skin do not matter.
--- breed a ton of markings breeders, get some horribly inbred cubs with 8+ project slots PHASE 3: king the original eye, skin, mane, and base trait cub and breed to the markings breeders. pray. eat buffy and powder. repeat. PHASE 4: possibly RMAing other slots to get full BO if i get bored and want to suffer

This phase largely consists of breeding special based NCLs (applicator or NCL exclusives) with chamotte + clouded. The end goal is to get chamotte + clouded + royal outlaw to throw at the madagascar RL line with mada royal mane.

God I hate starting this stage. None of these traits are combined so I'm very slowly collecting them (some are rare or do not exist so I requested them) and breeding them to the few studs these slots have.
Updates:
As of 9/31/24, my friend kinged s3 + s6 + s8 on his side since they didn't have a current king there. W my project is finally progressing & slots are getting combined faster
As of 10/4/2024, that king has been replaced with a step! s1 + s2 + s3 + s6 + s8!
As of 10/17/2024, there's a new step kinged! s1 + s2 + s3 + s4 + s6 + s8 + s10! Only 3 slots left, except s7 + s9 are inaccessible right now. So only trying to combine s5 or mane type + color onto cubs. I'll be trying to get a nice mix of both traits to combine with the base traits cub, step 1 is just taking forever :')
As of 11/4/2024, my friend kinged a step with s1 + s2 + s3 + s6 + s8 + s9 + 10! I have also begun spreading s5 a bit more and may have a heat for s7. I've also decided to add some s11 + s12 slots because I want to suffer :)
As of 11/11/24, a step with s1 + s2 + s3 + s4 + s5 + s6 + s8 + s9 + 10 is kinged! Only slots 7, 11, 12, 13, and 14 remain! I have s11, s12, and s14 - I am still waiting on heats for s7 and s13 :D
As of 11/12/24, a step with s1 + s2 + s3 + s4 + s5 + s5 + s6 + s7 outlaw feline (wrong outlaw mark) + s8 + s9 + s10 + s14 has been kinged! I have a gnawed heat with s13 (3 existing) today so all slots except s7 will be in my pride! I also added s15 ruffian panther because I found an active public stud with it, making the project 20BO.
As of 11/15/24, a step with s1 + s2 + s3 + s4 + s5 + s5 + s6 + s7 outlaw feline (wrong outlaw mark) + s8 + s9 + s10 + s13 + s14 has been kinged! I currently have all slots in my pride except s7

No longer needed lions that get chased end up deleted from the list for my own sanity when adding new ones. It was too much to keep track of with all of them :')
Outlaw is definitely my favorite base in the game, and your future king looks amazing
