TOTALLY AGREE! When I first encountered this, while I had a good karma lion, I was so confused when it went straight to battle. I was also kinda frustrated because it made me at the very least lose 5%-10% energy when I don't really like using attack on battle encounters. I though I'd get a cute friendly mother cheetah being grateful for you helping find her cub or something.

We have rainbow lions. Its an event encounter we only get 1 time every year.

I think its fair to clarify certain interactions to remove losing energy like #39869) stated.

And im pretty sure, if I spent some time and energy digging through other event interactions. Im sure their are plenty, plenty baby or non baby interactions that would not exist unless, it was a sim game like lioden is.

Throwing realism still doesn't change the fact that this is a confusing interaction.

Also, there is already a regular explore encounter with a lost cheetah cub where the good karma option is to find its mom- of course people will think that the same logic works for this encounter. Honestly it'd be easy to fix this by changing the wording from "Find the mom" to "Confront the mom".

In my defense, this game doesn't take an all-or-nothing approach to realism. Be that as it may, it's not for nothing that helping the cheetah cub in the karma encounter ends with your lion bailing after the mother is in sight (in the text anyway).

Maybe I've played this game too long, but I think the difference between that one and the king cheetah cub encounter is that the latter isn't lost. It's safe to assume its mother isn't that far away. I'm not throwing out all realistic possibilities on account of demon-related storylines and paintball lions.

TBH it ought be altered simply for clarity's sake. Simply altering it to Defend Territory would be easy enough. That's why I've always presumed your lion attacks the mom.
