♂ ♀ A beast of shadow and night, an eerie aura follows wherever it goes. Preys hide when they see it, predators quake in its presence. It is foretold that this beast heads towards their next destination, looking for their next victims to claim. Many claim the stories told are true, they have witnessed them themselves. The calamities, the death, the disasters, the omen it brings. They say if you see this harbinger of misfortune and death enter your settlement, brace yourself for the worst to come, death and destruction will soon follow. However, despite the tellings, Nocternides are sociable creatures that love to interact with others and enjoy helping one another. Unfortunately, their scary appearance, coupled with the presence before misfortunes has garnered them some infamy. Nocternides have the ability to sense impending disasters and calamities that may fall upon settlements like floods and earthquakes, and so they head towards the area to warn the residents of what's to come, but due to miscommunications and word of mouth, their intentions were misunderstood. Despite the allegations, Nocternides still try to warn others of the coming doom and urge them to move, even if they are still blamed for it. Even with the infamy, they still love to socialize and if you play your cards right and adopt them into your pride, they will become a charm to ward away any misfortune that may befall your pride. They will do everything in their power to protect the family that they now belong to. Many seek out a permanent home that will take them in and accept them for who they are. Will it be you?
Interaction
Blurry visions guide you through a misty landscape. Reaching out with your paw, you hope to see more but alas, paw slips through, disappearing into the fog. You see nothing but fog all around you. Not knowing where you are or how you got here, your memories allude you. How DID you get here? This doesn't seem like your pride, your homelands. Where is your pride? Your cubs? Everything seems amiss. Then...coldness, a chill in the air, riding up your spine, into your mane. Something...someone is here with you. An eerie feeling in the back of your head tells you of a being in the mist. You sniff the air, squinting to see better. Nothing, but you know, you know it's there. Hm? What is that? ...light? A sudden light appears in the distance, in the fog, and then two, there are two and they're moving. The sparks sway from side to side...or are they? They seem to be getting bigger and...closer. Oh? You hear something...grass? Something is running on grass and fast! You close your eyes, lying down with your paws on your head and brace for impact. You wait, a minute goes by...hm? You open your eyes, looking up, you see glowing eyes staring at you. Your first instinct is to jump back, seeing just glowing sparks in vast darkness isn't the most normal occurrence, but then you think, it's just watching you, following your movements. It seems...harmless? Hm, maybe you could coax it with something to reveal itself. You look around and see a glimmer from the corner of your eye, you take a closer look and realize you had this with you earlier before you got here. This might just work out!

Nocternis will have 1-3 markings. ࣪ ִֶָ☾. If mutation is present, only common and rare type mutations will appear. ࣪ ִֶָ☾. A maximum of 2 treats are allowed. ---------- Rainbow Pearls 8 ❧ A beautiful stone naturally shaped like a ring, rough around the edges, yet it glimmers under the sunlight as if to stand out. You had picked this up while exploring to present it to your beautiful queen when you got back to your pride. ࣪ ִֶָ☾. 20% chance of encountering a Nocternis with a mutation. ࣪ ִֶָ☾. Nocternis will have 2-4 markings. ࣪ ִֶָ☾. If mutation is present, all mutation rarities will be available and there will be a very small chance of a double mutation appearing. ࣪ ִֶָ☾. A maximum of 3 treats are allowed.

A natural teeth grinder. ♛ Nocternis will obtain the max amount of markings based on the item tier. ---------- Salmon Bits 2 500 ❥ Fresh salmon in bite-sized bits. Yum! ♛ Able to select a mutation from available rarity based on the item tier. If double mutation is chosen, the mutations will be randomly selected. [Chances of meeting a mutated Nocternis will not be increased, applies only if Nocternis is mutated.] ---------- Mice Carcass 3 ❥ A bit bloody but chewy nonetheless, not bad! ♛ Increases the chance of mutation encounters by 20%
